At Plasterworks we mainly perform plaster work new and old renovations as well as ornamental plaster and any stucco applications as well. We have a fifth generation plasterer leading our crews and also have several artists to refurbish existing broken ornamentals or make a new design if desired. Our quality of employees is equally matched to our quality of work. We can also perform all other aspects of construction with exception to plumbing and electrical, but can manage and coordinate this for you as well. We have been in business for 5 years now. Our lead man has 46 years experience as a fifth generation Plasterer.

"1st, met with John on time, as promised, and reviewed the driveway, walk and stoop to figure the best solution to repair and resurface.
After contract was signed, workers arrived on time with all tools and supplies needed. This was the hottest week of summer and I must say the workers performed beyond my expectations to complete.
Very satisfied with result and would highly recommend ClassiConcrete."

"My siding project was started late in the year. I was concerned about the crew getting caught in the cold weather but they were well prepared and every morning they were ready to go. The crew jumped right into the tasks with little guidance and stayed busy all day. They talked and joked frequently but that seemed to keep their mood and energy up. There were few problems except for some cold mornings and frost that could affect ladder work.  Also included was new Sherwin Williams 20 year paint  on the wood trim  and 3 kitchen windows were installed. I noticed a remarkable increase in comfort inside this past very cold winter after the house was wrapped with HardieWrap and the new siding. The job finished more or less on time and looks great."

Stucco questions, answered by experts

DIY is possible for small cracks or patches. Professional services ensure proper texture and color matching.

If contractors discover water damage, rot, or mold beneath the stucco, additional repairs will be necessary. These repairs can increase your total project cost and timeline, but addressing them promptly is essential for your home’s structural integrity. Ignoring hidden damage can lead to more severe issues and higher costs in the future.

The best tape that works on stucco is the kind made explicitly for stucco surfaces. Look for tape that specifies stucco, masonry, or cement installations. The adhesive usually needs to be thicker and more durable to remain stuck to these rough surfaces.

Cracks, discoloration, and moisture intrusion often indicate necessary repairs.

Failing to repair damaged stucco can lead to significant problems. Cracks can grow and deepen, allowing water and moisture to get behind the stucco. This moisture intrusion can cause water damage, structural issues, and mold or mildew growth. Delaying repairs will likely cost more in the long run as the damage worsens, so it's best to repair your stucco as soon as you notice any signs of damage, such as cracks, holes, or discoloration.
