"I had 4 tree services come by for estimates. All Seasons was the most reasonable plus they were recommended by a friend.  They were very quick to respond and were able to do the job just a few days after the estimate. Everything looked great and they didn't leave a mess.

"They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with their service. Here's an example: we hadn't reached our 2-hour minimum after moving the table into the house, so they stayed and helped me put the table together. After securing over 20 bolts into the table there was still 15 minutes left, so they helped me take the packaging (cardboard + styrofoam) to the garbage. Thank you On Call Services, I will use your service again."

"The guys from Above the Crowd arrived on time, Kyle introduced himself and the other guys - then they got right to work.  I was impressed with their thoroughness.  We did a walk through the home right away so they could see what they had to move.  They wrapped up all our furniture and had to move several heavy/awkward items (400 lb gun safe and a treadmill).  The ENTIRE moving process (wrap furniture in moving blankets/shrink wrap, pack furniture and boxes into moving truck, drive to storage facility and unload EVERYTHING into the storage unit) took 3 hours.  The guys were hard working and quick... and it was a HOT and sticky day... pretty much the worse case scenerio for moving.  It even rained the last hour of everything (including during the unloading process).  They never lost their cool - didn't have any incidents of dings in the wall or items dropped/broken.
We're using the same moving company in August when we move into our new home -- I'd like to request the same guys... and would recommend this company to anyone (so far).  I will submit a review upon the move INTO our home as well.

"John and his colleagues at Lighthouse Moving took care of my needs when moving to an apartment. They were considerate and quick to get my items loaded and unloaded at my new home. My furniture was well taken care of and loaded safely on their moving truck. I was very impressed with their efficiency and their prices! Give John a call if you have any moving needs."

"Miller and his colleagues were able to do a lot of things quickly. Along with everything else, they also grabbed some old furniture that I needed help moving to the curb. They took several cares to make sure nothing was damaged during the move, including wrapping the furniture, turning off all the lights, and packaging the picture frames."

Garbage Collection questions, answered by experts

Never put glass in the garbage disposal. It can damage your disposal or eject shards of glass out of the disposal and cause injury. If you get broken glass in your garbage disposal, turn it off and cut the power from the breaker, use a tool like pliers or tongs to remove the glass, and use a wet-dry vacuum to remove the remaining glass pieces. If you can’t access the disposal safely, call a garbage disposal repair pro.

Most garbage disposals have a reset button that can be triggered with a tool as simple and accessible as your index finger. That said, if you need to perform a more in-depth troubleshooting step, like manually moving the arms inside the unit or rotating the impeller plate, a hex wrench is the most common tool you’ll need. Most garbage disposals come with a hex wrench.

The main issue with garbage disposals is clogging. This can mean a clogging of the pipes that expel the food along with water, or a clogging of the mechanical parts themselves. The problem lies in the solution because you can’t easily see clogs if they’re inside the system, and reaching in to dislodge stuck items is a risky proposal. Call a pro and ask what they would do, but if you can’t see the clog easily, and running the unit won’t free it, you need to let a professional handle the fix.

The two main negatives of garbage disposals are they are a safety hazard in homes with children, and they frequently encounter blockage issues. While they might be annoying to fix and monitor, garbage disposals can significantly lower your trash use and are a great way to dispose of organic waste. While there are negatives, the vast majority of homeowners acknowledge the positives are enough to install a disposal in their home.

Whether it's worth repairing your garbage disposal depends on its age and the specific problem. Generally, if the unit is eight years old or younger, repair is a good option. For minor issues like a bad seal or a simple jam, a repair can be inexpensive, sometimes under $10. However, if the motor is broken (a repair that can cost $150 or more) or the unit is getting old, it's often more cost-effective to replace the entire disposal.
