"I was expecting good work, given the previous reviews, but this blew me away! Hal has an attention to detail that is truly not seen in this day and age. He rounded the edges of every board used in the fence. The spacing between boards were all customized so that every section looked perfect. He created a deck that captured the style of the house, and also created a seamless transition between the decks on either side. The arbors are lovely. He talked me out of a few things and came up with better solutions that I love. He also listened to my ideas and went with them when they made sense. The guy is a craftsman! Little things matter: perfect beveled corners on the deck. A birdhouse needed to be re-located as part of the project. Hal noticed that the birds were still nesting in it, so worked around it and came back to relocate it when it was safe. Then, without my asking, he fixed the birdhouse so that it would be easier for me to clean it. I've had many, many glowing comments from friends, neighbors, and family. People I know who do carpentry for a living were also very impressed by his work. Things you should know: This is not a big operation. It's Hal plus a helper or two. You need to be flexible on starting dates, and it may take longer to finish than you think it will. Hal cuts all the boards in his shop before assembly on site - he really does. If it seems like the project should be starting and you don't know why he's not on site, that's why. The finished product is totally worth the wait. "
"Jim was very helpful and personable to work with. I had recently moved to the Huntsville area and was unable to connect my wireless printer. There were also some things going on with my laptop that made me suspect a virus had somehow gotten on to it, it was running more slowly than usual, and I wasn't happy with the Win7 configuration I had done when I bought the computer. Jim came in and assessed the problems and we agreed on a time for him to take the laptop and reinstall the OS. He was able to get the wireless connection to work as well. He took the computer on a Friday evening and returned it Sunday evening in prime condition. A few weeks later I got an error message while reinstalling my accounting software so I called Jim. He talked me through the problem over the phone and I was able to get the program installed so I could use the program. Jim is great to work with, his pricing is very fair, he is prompt and reliable. I will definitely use his services again. "
"It was a smooth and simple installation . I had 3 doors and 15 windows which they sent me individual little connectors that go on each item. I did all the numbering and data for each unit and installed each one with minor corrections . The phone call took a few minutes with minor "

Pantry bugs are rarely able to get into sealed packages, but they may try. If you find pests on or around a sealed food item, check inside to make sure the food is still clean. Not sure whether a package is contaminated? Spread the contents onto a cookie sheet and use a flashlight to look for pests.
Hiring a professional house cleaner costs between $120 and $240 per visit. Most homeowners can expect to pay an average of $170 for a cleaning and disinfecting service. House cleaning services may include disinfection of high-touch surfaces, but it’s best to ask your cleaner to be sure it’s included in their services.
If you’re wondering whether pest control services are safe, rest assured that they are if you hire a licensed and experienced exterminator. Professionals are trained to use EPA-approved products in controlled amounts and apply them in targeted areas to minimize exposure to people and pets. Plus, many modern pest control methods are designed to be low-risk while still effectively eliminating pests like scorpions. If you have concerns about chemicals, ask your exterminator about eco-friendly or integrated pest management (IPM) options, which focus on prevention and minimal pesticide use.
Trees that provide a habitat to bats and an abundance of bugs—their main food source—will attract bats to your yard. Because the North American landscape has changed so much in recent years, bats have a harder time finding trees with cavities to shelter in. If your yard has a dead or dying tree with a lot of sun exposure, bats will likely be drawn to it because trees with those features are less common.
A rat nest often looks like a messy, loosely formed pile hidden in a quiet spot. It may appear as a ball-shaped cluster or just a scattered heap made from shredded paper, fabric, insulation, leaves, twigs, and other soft materials. Rats gather whatever they can find nearby to build their nests, often tucking them away in walls, attics, or behind appliances for warmth and safety.
