- Best-Rate Repair CompanyIt went great. I called the week before the work was done and one of the owners called and set up an appointment for the next day. The other call I placed to another highly ranked outfit never called me back. The work consisted of replacing deteriorated siding, which had to be especially milled. Don gave me a rough estimate and offered a work slot on the following Monday. I was thankfull for that as I had to leave town shortly after. On Monday am Don and Rocky the carpenter arrived. We went over the work and the possible problems, which didn't occur. Work commenced. I worked along side Rocky all day as I had much to do otherwise on the house. Rocky was all that could be hoped for and then some. He finished his work in good order and did some extra patching that he noticed along they way. For a first contact I can't say enough good about these folks and they are on top of my list for furture projects. The final price was within the estimate. Ask for Don and Rocky

I am a hands-on handyman. I occassionally will bring in help when warranted, i.e., roofing. My standard procedure is to have materials paid and half of the labor up front and the balance upon completion. Special arrangements can be made in the event of special circumstances.

"Contractor met at the site to review the conditions and then provided an estimate. We set a date the crew would arrive and the contractor called several days before to see if they could come a day ahead of schedule. We were delighted they could start early. they arrived promptly at 8:00 AM on the start date and began work. The crew was courteous and worked diligently to finish the job in 2 1/2 days. Each day they cleaned up the site before they left and when the work was completed they cleaned the site very nicely. At several point the contractor had questions about how we wanted the details completed and we were happy to be consulted on these issues. We added a layer of closed cell insulation under the metal roof to help dampen the sound and teh contractor provide the additional material at a very fair price.
