"Install was easy. Up front cost was pretty low with Angie's List coupon. Monthly price is a little high compared to competing companies. Response time with alarms is excellent. I was advised to use glass break alarms within 10 ft of my first floor windows, which we installed correctly. I asked prior to installation if having one in the kitchen would cause false alarms due to dishes clanging, etc. I was told the glass break alarms are configured to a precise frequency that alarms with breaking glass. So, not a "no", but not really an answer. Well, every time we cook dinner, wash dishes or empty the dish washer, the kitchen glass break alarm gives a warning which would sound the alarm if it was set. This has caused us a number of false alarms while we've been away due to shifting bowls or plates in our drying rack. For the first several we've had to pay our police department $120 to check the house, and I was only notified after the first alarm that there was a cheaper option for a security company to drive by to check for a break in."

"They gave us the best rate and the setup was great for ADT system. The installer did have to tell us about other options that would cost more money but he did not pressure us when we declined. We had door, window and motion detectors included. They gave us a week to practice on the new system, but we could call if we were ready to go live sooner which we did. Set up was quick, easy and uneventful. Very nice installer, Phillip Brown. The cost was quoted at a low price, but the bill came from ADT and was much higher. We were told the contract to ADT did not catch up and we will be getting the lower price with a reimbursement for the excess of the first bill. We did the $99 install and are getting a $100 gift card back. 3 year contract is a little annoying but we plan to stay here for a long time."

"We installed it ourselves. For all the equipment and everything it was $103. The price was very good because my monthly payment was only $49 a month. I like them better and I have heard too many horror stories for another company. Responsiveness, I would have to give them a 100%. I have set the alarm off by opening the door without turning it off and they were right on top of it to call and make sure we were okay. I love it. I feel safe. The quality is good. We own our equipment so when we move it will go with us. We have 9 sensors that came with that plus the other one that will go off when you move around, the motion sensor. I have had no bad problems at all. They are alert and call right away to make sure we are okay. I have the key fob and also it is battery operated if the power goes out. It is wireless and I can program it from my phone."

"At the Home and Garden Show we picked up some home security information from First Choice Security.  We called to set up an estimate and Steve was able to stop out the next day and provide an estimate, he was quick and very professional, he knew what needed to be done.  The security system he was able to install had the smaller window protectors and he was able to install a recessed door contact on the front door so it wouldn't take away from the asthetics of the living room.  The window contacts he installed were nice and slimming, and also able to install them so we could have a window open with the house alarmed.  On the day of installation, he was very flexible with the installation time as we changed it and then changed it back, he was prompt in arriving.  I am very satisfied with the services performed and would recommend this company to install your ADT security system.

"I can not adequately praise and share how happy my family is with the entire work we had done. Ryan took the time to find out our needs and what we were trying to get done. At no point did I feel he was trying to up sell me anything we didn't need. "Allen quickly responded and scheduled a timely appointment to come to our home and provide an estimate. He was thorough in assessing the situation in our bathrooms, and provided helpful education and information. He ultimately repaired the grout in 3 bathrooms and referred me to another resource for further (more extensive) repair work in one of our bathrooms that was outside the scope of his services. He notified me via text when he was on his way and how long he expected to be there. He protected the areas he worked in and was neat and cleaned up the areas afterwards. He also assisted in removing a shower door in anticipation of another contractor who was to begin work in a couple of weeks."
