"We met with several landscape company's and chose Nelson's for our residential backyard complete "re-do" on Rush Lake (Crosslake, MN). PART 1: Nelson's installed our entire yard sprinkler system. Rob proved that grass CAN grow in our area's sandy soil with consistent watering (since this is our weekend cabin, we could not have accomplished this without a well designed system). NOTE: I was pleasantly surprised how inexpensive this was. PART 2: Rob designed a landscape plan for our backyard, removed trees, improved the grade and made grass grow in a very shady area. PART 3: Rob designed & installed a flagstone walkway, patio and fire pit relaxation & entertainment area that really fit a tight area in our backyard. We are SO pleased with the results, just what we hoped for! Rob was great to work with, easy to reach, met with us continually throughout the projects. He continues to service our sprinkler system each spring and fall and is always available for any programming questions. "They were trimming in our neighborhood, came door to door, pleasant to talk to.  We had wanted to get the branches away from our roof and clean up the appearance of our tree's.  They gave us a quote, we haggled a bit and we settled on a price.  They came, trimmed the tree's being careful around our flower beds and yard decorations.   I asked to have a few more branches cut off and they did so with no hesitation.  They cleaned up the front and backyard spotless.  I will keep the card and call them again if I need any tree work done.

"It is a really beautiful fence and arbor.  After not having a fence facing the alley for many years, and finally deciding to have one, I wanted to have a quality fence to provide some privacy but done in a more open and creative style to complement my gardens.  Hal Morris and his workers exceeded my expectations for quality and style.  He was able to fulfill my requests for a built-in trellis on the fence.  The arbor is beautiful and very sturdy.  His craftsmanship is remarkable.   He did have a very busy schedule, and had to wait a bit to get it started, but it was well worth the wait.  If you are looking fencing ideas that for your property, he has an ability to see what will look good in a specific area.  Very happy with his services and would highly recommend him."
