"Can't not say enough good things about this company. Quality work, expeditious service at a very competitive price. Their crew also do a fantastic cleanup job as there was not a branch, twig or leave left on my lawn. If you are looking for tree service save yourself a lot of time and hire Mike."

"Neil and his crew did a great job on our tree project that included taking out multiple trees, trimming trees, grinding stumps and clean up. His rates were fair and competitive. He's very experienced and knowledgeable and provided helpful advice in a number of areas. They took out a big oak tree leaning over my garage and another oak leaning over my deck with no problems. They showed up on time, finished the job efficiently, and cleaned up the site well without any damage to my lawn, etc.... We had no surprises....which is well appreciated! I know who to call for my next tree project! Neil is the real deal"

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Transporting a fully-grown tree requires heavy equipment, typically specialized for the task. A tree spade is a truck-mounted tool that removes the tree from the ground in one location, transports it, and places it in a new hole in a new location. A combination of mechanized shovels and lifts is necessary to move very large trees, and the exact tools often depend on location and the surrounding area.

The exact answer to this question depends on which region of the country you’re talking about, but according to various tree counts, some of the most common types of trees in the United States include red maple, Douglas fir, quaking aspen, loblolly pine, and sweetgum.

Most tree removals take 3-8 hours, requiring additional time for stump grinding or debris hauling.

Using vinegar to kill tree roots is just one of the clever ways to use vinegar around the house. The method works best when you apply vinegar as directly to the root system as possible. For example, if the old tree roots and stump are currently exposed, drill holes in the tops of the roots and pour undiluted white vinegar into the holes to soak into the plant. Remember that vinegar can kill the surrounding grass and plants should it pour over the edge.

While trees can grow in the curb strip between the sidewalk and the street, this placement often poses the problem of interfering with overhead power lines. It’s best to consult your local utility provider and tree planting service before transplanting a tree that might grow into power lines. Also, you should never work within 20 feet of a live power line to avoid the risk of electric shock. Tree branches should never touch nearby power lines, so it’s essential to ensure your tree isn’t in danger of growing too close to them.
