"The only thing I was dissappointed in was that the deck has a rough finish, but I suspect that was due to the previous sealing that was done by someone who wasn't experienced (family friend).  This guy said they could buff it next time, so that's OK.
They were very responsive to a spot that appeared to not have taken the stain as well as the rest of the deck surface; they came back right away and resolved that."

Ryan worked well with our contractor to time when he could start painting our exterior (new LP SmartSide) and gave us additional ideas and input to ensure the color scheme and matching came out as best as possible. His painters were on time, detailed, worked quickly while doing an outstanding job. When we made a last minute change to make our porch roof a clear coat in order to see the wood grain vs painted white Ryan helped us clear up blemishes in the wood and had his team out a number of times to ensure everything looked right. "Custom Renovations did a great job on my deck cleaning and staining project. Company owner, Ricardo, contacted me quickly after my search on Home Advisor, and then visited my house on my schedule to inspect the deck, offer suggestions, explain how they do a deck project and write a proposal on the spot. The price was fair for a two-day (over three) job. Once we had a window of agreeable weather, the crew got right to the job, and worked as long as it took to finish while the weather cooperated.The cleaning and sanding work prior to staining was particularly impressive and made the deck look great. The crew was polite, maintained a clean work site, did a nice job of protecting adjacent plants, and left the area very clean. Highly recommend!"
