"Had Pat and his crew install a 20 foot by 24 foot patio. Pat is very knowledgable after his almost 40years in the business. He is an excellent communicator, always got back to me within 2hrs if not right away! Very pleased with the work, and the care he took in helping with the yard appearance when the patio was installed. Gave me the confidence I wanted in having someone who has been there and done that a time or two, but also can provide the attention necessary to help with questions home owners may want. I really enjoyed going with his experience over a larger company that may have been able to complete a project in a day, but would not have given me the confidence Pat and his crew gave me that their work would last a lifetime! Would definitely recommend so others can continue to enjoy his work too"

"They were very flexible about when to come out to do the job. They took care while blowing out the leaves from my many flower beds. The yard looked fantastic when they were finished and they picked up the leaf bags early the next day. We will be using them again next year."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

Lead removal can take a few days to several weeks, depending on the work needed, particularly if the lead is widespread and in hard-to-reach areas.

No, you can’t place hazardous waste in a dumpster unless you specifically ordered a dumpster for hazardous waste removal. If the dumpster company finds hazardous waste that it didn’t approve for dumping, the company will return the waste to you, and you’ll likely face a fine for illegal dumping.

It is safe to remove old linoleum, but it may require the help of a specialist due to the risk of asbestos in the material. Before you cut into linoleum or try to peel it up, have it tested for asbestos. If it tests positive, professionals will need to remove it to prevent the risk of health issues from airborne toxic particles. If it’s asbestos-free, DIY removal is possible and safe.

You do not have to remove lead paint if the surface is not chipping or peeling or if there are no pregnant people or children under the age of six who live in or regularly visit your home. Lead paint is a particular risk for young children whose brains and bodies are not fully developed. Experts strongly recommend that you call a pro to remove lead paint if it’s peeling or flaking, no matter who lives in the home. You can experience lead poisoning by breathing in or ingesting just a small amount of it.

Disposing of old paint, bleach, oil, and fertilizer should be handled by a company that specializes in this kind of waste. Many private junk removal companies do not dispose of these items. Because these materials are hazardous to the environment and dangerous to handle or dispose of improperly, you should confirm with your local municipality about places to take hazardous materials for safe disposal.
