We can clear your roof, cutters and downspouts of ice dam buildup! We use only the safest and most effective method which is low pressure steam!

"He just attacked the job like there was an open checkbook. Demo work that wasn't authorized until after the fact and he made it seem like us questioning it was our problem. He was unwilling to provide any sort of documentation of the hours worked and which days. He finally did get us receipts from Menards, well that is easy to do if you use the terminals. Even on the receipts he charged us for a few different tools that were reusable, a mechanic wouldn't make you buy him a few new wrenches, and the receipts would have an occasional snack too. As for the work, obvious signs of only a single coat of paint, sloppy paint lines, didn't lay drop clothes on the floor, unfilled nail holes, and blinds to cover up the poor painting or lack there of on the windows."

Roof Ice and Snow Removal questions, answered by experts

Yes, but it works best with lightweight snowblowers, the single-stage models or electric versions. Also, you need to have a rubberized intake edge on the ground and preferably rubberized auger paddles, not a metal version. Otherwise you may chip or damage the surface as you work. When it doubt, let the snow lie.

You can also use a snow blower on leveled gravel, but only if you carefully adjust the intake height so it doesn’t kick up the gravel and turn it into flying missiles.

Snowblowers are some of the best tools for snow removal because they remove large amounts of snow quickly without bodily harm or damaging your deck. If your snowblower can fit on your deck, it’s a good first line of defense to remove snow quickly and easily. If you don’t have a snowblower, a plastic shovel with a rubber blade is another good choice to remove snow on a deck.

In most cases, it’s a good idea to leave the icicles on your roof and wait for the warmer weather to melt them away naturally. You should only remove icicles if you believe they’re heavy enough to cause damage to your home or anyone who enters it.

When starting the engine, you typically leave the choke on a snowblower in the "choke" or "closed" position. After starting, let the engine run for a few minutes to warm up. Then, gradually open the choke, moving it to the "open" or "run" position, allowing more air into the engine and transitioning to a normal fuel-air mixture. The exact duration varies based on the snowblower model and ambient temperature, but as a general rule, you should open the choke once the engine has stabilized and runs smoothly, typically within a few minutes.

Yes, snow should be removed from a deck to protect it from damage caused by moisture and heavy loads. Shovel the snow off of your deck regularly once it is more than four inches deep. Avoid using salt, which can damage your deck.
