I can't say enough about the great experience we had with the Metal Roof Company. A hail storm punched holes in the roof of our screened porch. This company stepped up and squeezed us into their schedule so we could proceed with an event we had planned for that space. Our new metal roof is gorgeous and we no longer have to worry about hail storms!

My wife and I had a ventilated roof deck and steel shake roofing put on our house. We are very happy with our new roof. The crew, (Hank, Matt, Mike, and Bobby) were friendly with each other and my wife and I, they cleaned up at the end of the day, and they all worked well together. The project was a little expensive but we feel we got our moneys worth and our home is way better protected from hail, ice dams, and energy loss. The salesman, Brian, and foreman, Brandon, all communicated with us and the crew about the cosmetics, style, color, material, start/forecasted completion date, and so on, which wasn't with a little hiccup but we were all able to sit down and had to compromise a little, which is totally expected on a project like this and it worked out the way it should. We are very happy with the end product and would recommend The Metal Roof Company assessing your project and feel comfortable saying you will be happy with the end result. Jeff and his crew did an incredible job installing metal roofing and metal siding on our new home. It wasn t an easy job, tough to reach places and intricate design specifications. They have a, Can do , attitude, and their workmanship was outstanding! I highly recommend the Metal Roof Company!!

Our builder identified a couple of potential roofing firms and he recommended the "Metal Roof Company" because they are competitively priced and they have all the needed metal fabricating equipment to do the job right. We met with Jeff and he went through all of our options so we could choose the material and color that would fit our budget and complement our home's color scheme. Once completed we determined that we needed to add some additional "Ice Breaks" and a new flashing to redirect the rain run off. They came out right away to make the needed modifications. I would recommend "The Metal Roof Company" to anyone thinking about installing a metal roof.

Being a contractor building my own house it was hard to let someone else do anything. that being said Jeff and his crew quickly made me realize I made the right decision. As soon as they got set up and started working I couldn't be more impressed with their professionalism. At the end of the day great product and people installing it.

We have a 20 year old home in Hermantown, MN that needed replacement of the original asphalt shingles. I contacted a couple metal roofing contractors and selected Agate Exteriors (The Metal Roofing Co., Cloquet, MN) because Jeff Collins impressed me with his knowledge of metal roofing products and his can-do approach to meeting our needs. Jeff and his crew did our project on schedule...including some major carpentry work, and our new roof looks great. I am a critical rater when it comes to evaluating the people who provide services for me and the above ratings reflect our complete satisfaction with the job the MRC did for us.

This whole project was a nightmare! I was contacted by Agate Exteriors the same day I went on line to Home Advisors. I called them the next day and they came out 2 days later and gave me an estimate. The bid seemed reasonable so I called them and said I was ready to hire them and get started on the project. We completed the paperwork and signed the contract on July 7th.I was told there were 2 jobs ahead of me so my project would be completed in August. August came and went. I was told at the beginning of September that there were just a couple things they had to finish up and they would get to mine in September. September came and went. In the beginning of October I questioned was the project really going to happen as I hadn't been given a specific start date yet. they gave me a start date of October 13th. That week came and went. On Friday of that week they called and said everything is a Go and they will be there on Monday October 19th. I said I would be out of town that week and they said it would be done by the time I got home. That week came and went. On Friday of that week I received a text message saying everything is a Go and they will be there on Monday October 26th. No show! On Tuesday morning I got a phone call saying it was going to rain on Wednesday so they couldn't start that day. I told them if they weren't here on Thursday I wanted my money back so I could find someone who was actually going to do the job. They did show up and start the job on October 29th. It was supposed to be a 4 day job. It was a tear off of the old shingles and install metal roofing. Once the shingles were torn off it was determined that most of the plywood on one side had to be replaced. That should have taken 1 extra day. The job was completed on November 25th. I am not happy with the final result. The metal is very wavy and does not look like any of the metal roof jobs that I have ever seen. I would not recommend this contractor to anyone!

We contacted Agate Exteriors on a Monday afternoon, and by Tuesday afternoon, Jeff came to our house, measured the windows, showed us window samples, and gave us a free quote in a timely manner. Jeff and his crew were courteous of our home, and paid attention to the details that we cared about. The windows are in, look great, work great, and we couldn't be happier with our overall experience.

We contacted Jeff through the servicemagic.com website on Friday of Memorial Day weekend. He came that Saturday to give us a bid! The bid was very reasonable. He started work later that week and stayed late to finish the job on Friday and Saturday. The quality of his work was extraordinary! There was literally no mess! They were fast, neat, personable, and did high quality work. We highly recommend them and would definitely hire them again!
