Platinum Remodeling and Handyman Services was founded in February of 2005 when I bought out House Doctors-Southwest Metro. I had been the operations manager of House Doctors since it's inception in late 2002. I ran all of the day to day operations, estimated, scheduled, and managed all projects. When I started Platinum, I hired three of my previous co-workers and we never missed a beat! I have a degree in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Strategies from Iowa State University. They are bonded and covered by workers compensation. I also have great subcontractors that I use on large projects and where licensed professionals (electricians, machinists, plumbers) are needed. We also use specialty subcontractors for things like large drywall projects, Cambria or stone countertops, floor refinishing, landscaping.....among many others. All of our work comes with a one year warranty on the labor, all materials carry the manufacturer's warranty. All subcontractors warrant their work as well. I have a Minnesota Residential Remodeler's license. The company is covered by liability insurance, worker's compensation and the employees are bonded.
