"Eric and his team were fantastic. They came the same day I called him and worked for two days getting my yard waste removed. They were quick, polite, hard working and fun. I have 3 boys and they were great with my kids and all the questions they had. Thanks Eric!"

"Really good experience. I needed to have a large and old Weber propane grill removed from my back deck and disposed of. Junk 86 followed up promptly, gave a reasonable estimate, and we scheduled a time for pick-up. They communicated well and were easy to work with. Recommended."

"Very kind husband and wife team. With a nice truck and large enclosed trailer. Their website does not show that they do junk removal , but they do. The price was right, too.. $180 For a queen size mattress, box spring and a small couch. They were in communication with me the night of the pickup and we're very timely. $20 tip! We will call upon them again if needed."

Waste Removal Services FAQs, answered by experts

Dead trees are dangerous for several reasons. They are structurally compromised and prone to branch or trunk failure, which can pose a significant safety risk to people, vehicles, and nearby structures. Dead trees can also harbor pests like termites, which may spread to other trees or your home. If a tree died from a disease, it could spread the illness to healthy trees. Additionally, the dry wood is highly flammable, increasing fire risk.

Sometimes you may be able to leave the bags with your regular trash. However, that’s not always the case. Call your local waste management prior to starting the removal and ask about the proper ways to recycle or dispose of removed insulation. In many cases, your town or municipality has a designated dumpster for building waste.

Many recycling centers will not recycle Styrofoam because it is very difficult to return to its base form. Additionally, many recycling facilities do not have the proper equipment to compact or densify recycled polystyrene foam into new foam blocks. Ultimately, the entire process for recycling polystyrene foam is expensive and takes a lot of time.

Generally, it is not necessary to remove old mulch before applying a new layer. As organic mulch breaks down, it enriches the soil with nutrients. However, you should remove the old layer if it shows signs of fungus or disease, which can be common in moist areas, or if the total depth is already too thick. Avoid letting the total mulch depth exceed 3 inches, as this can harm plant roots. If you do remove old, disease-free mulch, it can be added to a compost pile.

It’s called a 20-yard dumpster because the volume of space in the dumpster can hold 20 cubic yards of material. A cubic yard is 3-feet long, 3-feet wide, 3-feet tall cube, as 3 feet is equal to 1 yard. This volume can hold about 110 to 130 33-gallon trash bags.
