"The work was phenomenal, great job, they hanged the drywall started on a Saturday, then completed the hanging of the drywall the the next Sunday afternoon. They were polite, and on time, they took pride of their work. they got all the drywall up, and dried up all in 3 to 4 weeks and when they were finished everything was ready for finishing and painting works. He does a lot of drywall work for me in little over 5 years."

"Very professional. Wonderful to work with. We hired them to put an addition on our home. They did everything very well : foundation, building the rooms, putting in insulation, drywall, painting, flooring, windows, roofing, plumbing, framing doors and windows, ductwork. "We had our bedroom completely done. There was old wallpaper and old carpet. The wallpaper was removed and the walls were repaired and prepped for painting. There was a lot of prep work done. The carpet was removed and the floor was prepped for vinyl planking. The owner, Brandon, was able to match the floor that had been installed in the hallway two years ago. It was an ordeal, but he accomplished it. The paint job turned out beautiful, as well as the floor. I had no idea who Wall King was, but I am so happy we tried them. Brandon kept us informed of everything that was going on. He always showed up when he said he would. He and his crew were wonderful. Very friendly, professional, and took the time to get things done right. I would highly recommend them. You won’t be sorry."

You may need to replace drywall because of smoke damage. If the drywall is covered in soot, you may be able to clean it, but it will require a lot of time and effort. You could spend hours cleaning the drywall only to find there is more damage and it needs to be replaced anyway. It’s usually easier and safer to remove the smoke-damaged drywall and replace it.

Glass walls are more expensive overall than their brick or drywall counterparts. However, if you need walls for a building with more than two or three stories, glass walls are the more budget-friendly option.

The amount of drywall you need for a 1,000-square-foot basement depends on the ceiling height, angles, number of doors and windows, and more. To find the wall square footage, multiply the width and height of each wall, minus any gaps from windows or doors, and add the totals together. You’ll also need enough drywood nails or screws to install the drywall correctly.

You should always hang drywall from the top down. Starting at the top makes it easier to create a straight, tight line between the ceiling and the wall. Any gaps that occur will be at the bottom, where they are easier to manage. You can either cut the bottom piece of drywall to fit the remaining space or cover the gap with baseboard trim. Additionally, starting at the top is physically easier, as you won't have to fit the top sheet into a tight space between the lower sheet and the ceiling, or try to balance the upper sheets on the lower ones while securing them.

If your home was built before the 1940s and was not remodeled in the past 50 or so years, you probably have plaster walls. Aside from assuming, there are some practical ways to tell if you have plaster walls, including the following: If you knock on the wall and it feels solid, not hollow, if you can’t insert a thumbtack easily, if there are cracks that look like spiderwebs, or if your home has curved, arched, or swirled walls, doorways, or window openings.
