"Very Bad experience with this company, will not hire in the future. Not satisfy with Service and Customer service. They refused to send me pictures to prove to me that my basement was sealed properly. (Scary) Now I will have to hire someone else to clean up white powder residue left in room with missing door near the treated area. They refused to return and clean up the mess, owner told me since they did not treat the room next to treated area, they will not return to clean up white powder residue. I even pay an extra $250.00 just to clean in advance. Moving forward I will not pay a company in advance for a Job."

Promise - Inspected Once, Inspected Right! Choosing the right home inspector can be difficult. Unlike most professionals,  you will not get to meet me until you retain me. Different inspectors have many varying qualifications, equipment, experience, reporting methods, and yes. different pricing.  One thing for sure is that a home inspection requires time and work. Ultimately, a thorough inspection depends heavily on the individual inspector's own  knowledge and effort. If you honor me by permitting me to inspect your home, I promise I will give you my very best effort. Lead Testing and Removal questions, answered by experts

Through air sampling devices and surface swabs in key areas of concern.

Determining if your water main contains lead involves a few steps. First, check the age of your property, as homes built before the 1980s might have lead pipes. Contact your water utility company for information on your service line material. Then, you can hire a professional plumber to conduct an inspection or use a lead testing kit to analyze water from the main line.

No. Standard homeowners insurance does not cover any kind of lead remediation, focusing instead on sudden, unpreventable events like fires and theft. Many insurance companies will specifically exclude lead paint removal, since it tends to be an expensive and unavoidable project. The exception is if the lead surface is damaged during a covered event (like a flood) and homeowners insurance pays its replacement.

Some of the signs that could mean your water is contaminated, such as cloudiness or bubbliness, could also be non-problems that don’t affect your water’s potability. However, if your water smells or tastes strange, it’s a good idea to stop drinking it and test it immediately. If your well water is contaminated, the best way to discover that is to test it.

Lead toxicity comes from inhaling lead or consuming it. Before the 1980s, when the government banned lead from consumer use, it could be found in paint, plumbing, pipes, ceramics, and even gasoline. Lead paint is toxic for the same reason lead itself is toxic, which is why lead poisoning from paint presents the same as lead poisoning from water or food sources, with a slight increase in respiratory symptoms vs. digestive symptoms. Lead paint is most dangerous when it’s old and peeling, cracking, or otherwise disturbed. This increases the concentration in the air and, therefore, in breathable air.
