"Rob Mantua and Kristal Aluia approached me in August of 2017 and suggested I buy a house that they would fix up for re-selling. They promised to do this within 6 weeks. I purchased the house September 1st and have paid them more than the original estimated total, but the house is less than 25% complete. It has no working bathroom, no kitchen, no new roof, no furnace, all of which they promised. It is now more than 8 months since I purchased the house. Multiple times, they promised they would finish the job and then did nothing. They have done almost no work since December. Now, they have not returned a call, text or email for four weeks."

"April 6 2023, work began. May 12, Erik said powerwash to begin next week. May 18, I texted him asking when to expect the powerwash. He said I'm next on his list (he likes to say this). May 22, he asked to stop by at 5pm so we could pick out a stain color. Didn't show. Texted him at 7:56pm. He said he'd come next day at 9am. Didn't show. Texted him at 10:47am, he said we're next on his list (again). Monday June 5, team stained back deck, I paid for the project in full. Erik told me he would be back the first of August to complete work in front. August/September came & went. No communication. September 26, I texted Erik. He apologized, blamed weather, and said I'm next on the list (again). He said job to be completed Friday or Saturday. Did not show either day. 6:51pm Saturday evening, he texted me and told me he'd show up Monday to finish the job, which he did. While the quality of work was acceptable, how they choose to do business is not. I do not recommend hiring this company."

We have been serving SE Mi as a fully Licensed and Insured Building company since 2008. During that time we have installed over 1500 roofs. We are Cerified installers of CertainTeed and OwensCorning products as well as Tamko, Iko, Gaf, and Atlas products. We install all of our roofs for zero money down with the balance upon completion.We have a large crew of up to 14 employees and we generally install 2 average sized roofs per day or 1 large roof per day in the summer hours.

The most significant factor in knowing whether to repair or replace your dock is the extent of the damage and its age. If you have minor cracks on a few boards and the dock is less than 15 years old, it'll likely be worth repairing the damaged part. However, it's time to replace this essential water feature if you have significant damage, such as rotting wood in multiple areas, warps or cracks in the dock supports, or a damaged foundation.

Bulging walls, cracks in the seawall's top or side, and the appearance of a seawall "pulling away" are all signs that you need repairs or reconstruction. You can check online to see which is mandatory in your area, and then you can use Angi’s contractor licensing tool to make sure the company holds the proper license. Since dock construction is inherently dangerous, confirm with your builder that they are fully insured for everyone’s protection.
