I can do drywall and similar repairs. I also provide interior painting. I do any finishing touches to any interior wall. I make sure my customer is satisfied with my work. I always give a 1 year warranty a complete sheet of drywall or more. It is a self owned business. I have been doing drywall for 8 years and painting for 4 years.

He took the time and effort to make sure that shifting of the siding would have a minimal impact on the final appearance. His final invoice was more than fair considering the quality of his work. Ray Kluth listened to everything we wanted done on our initial walkthrough and then sent us a quote, broke down by room detailing everything that was to be done. We had received two other quotes and none of them provided this much detail. Ray was not the lowest bid, however Ray's expertise and crew size won them the job. The job took 5 days. The crew was fantastic with covering our hardwood floors and furniture. The dry wall repairs on the ceilings that were done are invisible! The painting job on the walls and cathedral ceilings is perfect! Even the wood trim repair in a skylight well looks beautiful. The crew was professional and definitely took pride in their work. They replaced all our furniture and cleaned up our floors and woodwork. At the end of the job, we did a walkthrough with Ray and pointed out a couple of spots which were immediately fixed. Installing or repairing plaster on ceilings differs slightly from performing the same motions on a wall. You’ll apply slightly less plaster to lower the overall weight of the ceiling. Wall texturing is common, whereas most ceilings are smooth plaster. Tough coat plaster is strong, meaning you can use less while retaining a solid surface.

Once dry, lightly sand and prime before painting.

The tool you use to sand plaster will depend on the size of the project. If you’re just working on a small section of your wall to get rid of an uneven spot on the surface, hand-sanding might work. However, for larger projects, a drywall sander can make a huge difference when it comes to both time and elbow grease—and an orbital sander can help for detailed areas such as around ceiling fans.

DIY is possible for minor cracks or holes. Professional services ensure seamless blending and durability for larger repairs.

You can repair plaster ceilings yourself after the cause of the ceiling damage has been addressed. However, the repair can easily take 5 hours and can be slightly challenging for those without previous experience. If you do decide to flex your DIY muscle, have a helper to help hold the ladder and pass you the tools for safety purposes.
