"I’m caring for my 92 year old widowed Mother who needed a bed frame with headboard footboard with king mattress assembled immediately and damaged vinyl floor tiles replaced in a small bathroom. Tim arrived within 15 minutes of me speaking to him. Tim agreed to do the tasks at a phenomenally low price. The bed assembly was beyond complicated that’s why my Husband and I hired Tim who professionally assembled it even though the directions had crucial screws labeled incorrectly and over 100 pieces. Taking no break and not even accepting the offer for coffee Tim quickly moved onto ripping up the old vinyl tiles in the bathroom and installing 24” X aprox 48” tiles in the bathroom. He did an excellent job and that floor is so beautiful. It’s faux marble with clear caulk which looks so fresh and clean. I am thrilled with Tim’s hard work ethic, polite manners, skilled craftsmanship and trailer full of all the right tools. I plan on using Tim again and already referred him to a Friend."

"I had tried installing a new French Patio Door and could not get it to close. I called Swans based on the reviews here. He scheduled an appointment and came down and quickly determined the issue. He took the time to explain why I was having trouble and how he had two options to correct it. He had the door installed within about a couple hours and did not even charge me the full estimated cost of 250. He offered to do the rest of the install work (foam insulation, reattach brick mould, etc) but I enjoy that stuff. I will definitely keep him in mind when I have another project I need help on or someone to do for me

"I had contacted several places that I had used over the years that could maybe help....all were swamped or didn't get back with me. I took to Angie's List and had a delightful experience at Roofs and More with the clerical staff that took my phone call. She called back in a timely manner and told me that Jake would be out to repair or assess based on what he found within 24 hours. 
 On Tuesday, Jake showed up, and quickly and efficiently assessed and repaired the hole in the barn roof. With that, he pointed out some weaknesses in the 40 year old pole barn roof and made some suggestions. His repair was very reasonable and well worth no snow scene in the barn :)  .  
Took him up on the replacement and repair of the other 3 large skylight panels in the roof which currently have brittle and yellowed fiberglass panels that will be the next victims of bad weather. Strong explanation as to why I might want to consider the upgrade to snug up the barn roof and replace the skylight panels as well as paint the steel roof which is aged to be void of any paint. Reasonable price and good on the spot estimate. Yes, yes, yes.
Really impressed with Jake and his company. Gave him my list of "extra" things like paint the barn (as we were now going to paint the roof)  and he said he'd get back with me after working up some numbers. 
Like this guy, like his business model, and he just may have earned my complete loyality as we progress beyond just the "roof".

"Rob undertook a large-scale renovation for my wife and I. We had purchased a house that we intended to renovate and turn into a rental property. Rob did almost everything imaginable, from new bathrooms and a new kitchen to new windows, siding, doors, flooring, plumbing, framing, etc. He even removed a massive fireplace from the center of the house, leaving no trace of its existence behind. "Since my previous review of DNA I've kept employing Derek Esterline and his associates over and over again, as there's no end of things that need to be repaired/updated/replaced, etc, after thirty-some years of "deferred maintenance." Derek has recently taken on a new partner, John Wright, and I wanted to update my review with a note about how expertly he has fit into the business. John is conscientious, industrious, and a very quick study who appreciates the high levels of skill and experience Derek has to impart. Recently they've given my barn a complete makeover, replacing shoddy roofing, broken windows, siding and hardware as necessary, and power-washing and painting the exterior and trim so that it now looks like something you might find in Martha Stewart's back pasture. They've cleaned up severe storm damage, carefully taking down a huge maple limb that had been weakened and left hanging perilously over the road by gale-force winds. In addition, John's in charge of the bookkeeping chores, cheerfully and diligently dealing with all the paperwork. That he's also an extraordinarily kind person is not necessarily relevant to a review like this, but to the extent that it speaks to a person's character I'll throw that in as well. (I've been so touched by the way he makes sure my very old, blind, dog gets his share of attention and doggie treats.) As far as I'm concerned, Derek and John are the Hallmark Cards of the repair business--for "when you care enough to hire the very best.""

"Jon was an amazing builder who designed my deck from scratch and had a very detailed drawing done up for us. He put a lot time and effort into the design and planning. He stayed right on schedule and answered all of our questions. His work is some of the best I have seen and he was able to stay within our budget, which really helped us!
