"For the past several years my driveway has been destroyed by the roots of a 50 ft. tall pine tree which had broken through the existing concrete, resulting in large chunks, making it an uneven and unsafe surface. For this project I needed some serious excavation to not only remove the pieces of concrete, but also dig out the very large pine tree roots. Tresemer Concrete & Excavating came to the rescue, completing my 100 ft. long driveway in only one day. I was absolutely so impressed with their work. "Quick response and quality work. I just wish I had added a couple more feet of asphalt at the concrete pad. Did not get a written estimate, but a quick response to my Home Advisor request. I'd recommend All Phases."

"Very professional group who knew what they were doing and were careful with our landscaping. His estimate was fairly priced when I compared it to others. His workers were very considerate and friendly. The care they took to repair around the new concrete really impressed my wife. This is a big job you want someone who is really good at it. This group was very good. I really liked the owner Mr. Moberly carefully inspecting the final job. This is one detail oriented professional."

Concrete Driveways FAQs, answered by experts

Oil can permanently stain a concrete driveway if it fully dries or sits for weeks without cleaning. Concrete is porous and absorbs the oil deeper over time. That’s why it’s best to remove an oil stain when it’s wet by applying an absorbent material, sweeping the area, applying dish soap, scrubbing, and then rinsing.

The best cleaning solution for stamped concrete is a combination of water and mild soap. Dish soap and laundry detergent are good options. For more stubborn stains, you can use an alkaline cleaner that removes oil and grease. In either case, you’ll want to steer clear of abrasive cleaners and harsh chemicals which can damage the concrete.

No. In spite of its identical chemical makeup, sodium bicarbonate manufactured for blasting purposes has a particular type and size of particles that differs from grocery store baking soda. In addition, this method would not be cost effective because you would need several boxes of baking soda to equal one blast-sized bag of medium.

Yes, you can pressure wash epoxy floors, but you must take precautions to avoid damaging the surface. While most epoxy floors can be cleaned with a mop, you might choose to pressure wash if the floor is stained, has ground-in dirt, or is covered with mold or mildew. To do so safely, first soak any stains or dirty areas with a gentle cleanser. Use a lower pressure setting with a gentle nozzle, such as a green, white, or black tip, or a 45-degree angled tip. Keep the spray nozzle at least 18 inches away from the floor to protect the surface. Using a surface cleaner attachment or a rotary scrubber can also help prevent overspray. Be cautious if using a power washer that heats the water, as the combination of heat and pressure may be too powerful and could damage the epoxy coating.

These parts of the house are okay to pressure wash:

  • Natural wood decking that is not stained or painted

  • Siding made of vinyl, aluminum, and cement

  • Concrete

  • Most children’s toys

  • Outdoor furniture

  • Trash cans and recycle bins
