I have done a lot of research on concrete leveling and found that the limestone slurry was not only the best option for my situation but also much, much less expensive and more precise than foam. Meaning there is more room for correcting errors while leveling whereas if foam were used once the foam is injected it’s set. Limestone is much more forgiving until it sets. Great Company! "

The average ROI you’ll see from a deck or a concrete patio is 70%, so from a value-add perspective, they’re about the same. Brick pavers look great and last long, but they’ll cost more up front. If you’re looking to keep your budget in check without sacrificing function, concrete is usually the more cost-effective choice.

It depends on whether you’re looking at residential or commercial buildings. For residential buildings, the 2018 International Residential Code asks for a maximum riser (or rise) height of 7 3/4 inches and a minimum tread depth (or run) of 10 inches.

For fixed stairs in commercial buildings, OSHA requires a rise between 6 and 7.5 inches, with a run between 10 and 14 inches. The standards are different for spiral staircases.

Stone steps are often more expensive than concrete steps as they are specially cut and installed, on top of the material costs. Concrete is more readily available as many steps are precast, although custom-poured concrete steps are an option more similar in price to stone steps.
