"Expensive $11.5K to put in a shower in place of a tub, done in one day. Asked for brushed nickel, but got chrome everything. Asked for 2 shelves but just got 1 which they say is standard. They came back next day with 2nd shelf insisting I did not order. I do not know how a family can get by with 1 little shelf for shampoos and soaps, or why one would be standard. They left wall unfinished and floor untrimmed. Minimal retrofit. It works. Plastic and chrome, but works for now. My other retrofit tub with 6 shelves cost $1750 installed labor + materials, 1/10th the price."

The difference between resurfacing and refinishing is that refinishing only works on solid surfaces that are in good condition, whereas resurfacing will restore a cracked or worn surface to its original, blemish-free state.
