"The job involved 2 brick paver walkways that needed to be completely redone and expanded. This father and son were a pleasure to work with. Very detailed in exactly what they would do, we left the pattern up to them and it turned out beautiful. They were there every morning and put in a full day. Completed the job 2 days ahead of time. They were both really detailed oriented. When they left the yard was spotless. They even power washed the driveway where they cut the bricks. We have worked with alot of contractors over the years. I cant say enough about how happy we are with their work. I would use them again in a heartbeat. We live on a corner so their work is on display on the side street side of the house. "I hired MAC Landscaping & Design in May 2020 to install a French Drain and subsequent regrading for the backyard. My neighbor told me this would be a waste of money as â environmental engineers,â â city officials,â and â multiple companiesâ she contacted said the pooling of water couldnâ t be fixed. Mike came to my home, took detailed measurements, and told me (with confidence) he could give me a dry backyard. One year later, after the snow came and melted, after downpours and freezing temps, I saw the proof that his design worked, and now I watch my neighbors deal with stagnant water while I enjoy a beautiful, healthy lawn. But my main reason for writing this review (as I typically do not) is for the back patio Mike installed off my kitchen. During Mikeâ s initial visit for the French Drain, I had inquired about wood or vinyl decking and what he would charge to install one. I had received quotes for both materials from several companies and wanted to see how Mikeâ s would compare. Mike explained why he wouldnâ t recommend this for my yard (issues related to moisture) and suggested a raised paver patio instead. Within a week, I was sent a 3D design detailing the layout and explaining the costs. Not only was his design esthetically pleasing, but it also cost less than the wood or vinyl decking. I agreed and have never been happier with the results of a home project. This patio and backyard have been a lifesaver for me! I saw how Mike and his crew worked; they were on time, professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable! Being so please with the backyard, I ended up having the front of my home redone. Mike installed a beautiful walkway and large front porch (to match the back) and planted shrubs, flowers, put down mulch, and lighting. I honestly canâ t say enough good things about Mike and MAC Landscaping & Design! Thanks, Mike!"
