We are a much sought after family owned painting company in Northern Michigan. We have over 30 years experience. We can handle big projects and small throughout the year. We have a big crew! In the summer we have been averaging 20 employees the past 5 years. This winter we were able to keep 18 employees working. Most of our work is residential homes and cottages, but do some commercial projects. We pay attention to detail, keep a clean and tidy work site, and we always do what we say we are going to do and we do it correctly.

"Dan's work was outstanding. He was delayed in completing the project due to unforeseen complications. (The substance with which the logs were originally treated -- "log oil," which is no longer manufactured -- proved more complicated to remove than anticipated. He was extremely fair in billing for this additional work -- only charged me cost for the extra. I will absolutely use Dan again if/when I need to recoat the cottage!"

"I had a bad computer board in my oven. they said they would not cover it because they found a roach. This is Florida we have some roaches. i do not have a bug problem. It has nothing to do with a bad computer board. This company looks for a way to deny claims. i had one other claim and they tried to deny it as well. Save yourself some agravation and stay away. They must post their own positive reviews. They took my $65.00 fee and did nothing"

Choosing the right paint color for a major investment like painting the exterior brick on your house can be a daunting task. Perhaps the most important thing is to find painted brick houses that you like and replicate the look by researching their colors and asking the homeowners for the paint color code. If all else fails, white-painted brick is a timeless, classic look that is unlikely to go out of style.

If you’re choosing a finish with less enamel, it will be difficult to cover without a little extra elbow grease. Sand a layer of the satin paint off first before going in with the eggshell finish. It’s possible to paint inside when it rains, but you should keep the windows closed and have a dehumidifier in the room to maintain proper humidity under 70%. You should repaint the interior of your house every 2 to 7 years, depending on which room needs repainting and how it's used.  High-traffic areas like hallways, kitchens, and bathrooms need more frequent repainting—typically every 2 or 3 years. Living rooms and dining rooms, which you may use less frequently, can go as long as 5 to 7 years or even longer before they need to be repainted.
