"We recently hired North Creek Construction and Renovations for a complete bathroom remodel, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. From start to finish, Kirk and his team were professional, communicative, and committed to delivering a high-quality finished product. The craftsmanship is outstanding! The attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the remodel. They helped us pick out materials that not only fit our style but also our budget. We’re especially happy with how they transformed the space while maintaining a functional design. The communication throughout the entire project was top-notch. From the initial consultation to the final walkthrough, Kirk was responsive and kept us updated on progress. He was always happy to answer our questions, and we never felt out of the loop."

"Rick Sievers, General Contractor and Owner of Bay Ridge Development Inc., provided everything he promised in his bid with skill, flexibility, organization and constant communication. As is probably true with any remodel, we requested changes at various intervals throughout and Rick handled those requests with grace and showed his ability to be flexible. He is extremely skilled and always strove for perfection in his own performance as well as the performance of the specialty services he hired. Rick performed most of the work himself, so he was onsite the majority of the time, and when a specialty service was required, he hired people who worked to his high standards. Rick's organization and communication skills are wonderful and were very much appreciated from day one. There were absolutely no surprises due to Rick's ability to communicate throughout our remodel. Rick was a pleasure to interact with, from beginning to end, and we won't hesitate to request his services in the future. We absolutely love the end result! Remodel Design questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can draw your own deck plans in many cases. However, you must know your local building codes and be familiar with carpentry principles. Even then, it's always best to run your plans by a professional contractor with experience building decks, whether you choose to DIY some of the build or not.

Stone, marble, and brick are common building materials of Neoclassical architecture, though you will also find wood flooring and a range of natural stone tiles. Since several home styles fall under Neoclassical architects' umbrella, a range of building materials—including traditional wood framing—will make an appearance.

Hiring a contractor with knowledge about historic renovations and reviewing their previous work is important. You can find a historic home renovation contractor by calling your local historic preservation office, historical society, or any local historic museums nearby. The staff may have suggestions for specialized contractors who have worked for them. You can also ask them about historic home restorations that you have seen and liked in your area to get recommendations for pros.

Universal design is a design concept that states that products, spaces, and general environments are designed to be used by everyone, with an emphasis on accessibility for those with limited mobility or other special needs.

Builder-grade is one of two types of stock cabinets, whereas semi-custom designs allow homeowners some control over the color, finish, or hardware on their cabinets. Stock cabinets are sold in construction-grade and builder-grade designs. Construction-grade cabinets are usually made from inexpensive medium-density fiberboard, which is prone to moisture damage, whereas builder-grade models are a step up with higher-quality materials. Construction-grade designs are the most common type of cabinets in America.
