"Built to Last Construction was recommended to me by a friend who had them remodel her kitchen. First I hired them to paint a steep stairway to the upstairs, along with the upstairs landing (built their own scaffolding) and install railings. Their work was very professional and I can't belief how good it looks! Next I had them completely remodeled the bathroom in coordination with a plumber and electrician. Tom and his wife Ann went shopping with me for bathroom fixtures but because the bathroom is so small nothing seemed like it was going to work out. Tom actually ended up building a linen cabinet, sink base and medicine cabinet with a lighted mirror to fit. The quality of the wood and workmanship is outstanding! I am also hiring them for other projects. They are always very thorough and kept me informed on all aspects of the projects. I recommended them to a friend who has had a hard time finding someone to update her deck. She will not be disappointed."

When the installers arrived on day one, they had the old deck tore off and the new deck done except for the stairs. The next day they completed the deck and cleaned up the work site. "They helped us decide on the type of paint finish, and were very patient as we tried a couple of shades of paint and helped us with every aspect of doing an entire exterior paint job.  It was an absolutely huge job and they really exceeded our expectations.  They painted everything including all the trim, cedar shake, gutters and railings and ceilings on our large, wrap around covered, two-story porch and deck.  They even cut down a tree for us that was in the way of the painting that we had wanted to take out! 



The project manager, Kevin, was here everyday checking on progress, talking to us.  All the workers were so nice and very careful with everything and respectful of our home.  It was a great experience and the house looks brand new and just beautiful.  Would recommend the entire crew to anyone.  Very, very thorough.

"Matt took care of several small projects the first day and will be returning for several bigger fixes. He did an excellent job on the small stuff and I am looking forward to having him complete several bigger repairs once the materials are delivered.(Any delay is on my end.) He reviewed the upcoming projects thoroughly and gave me reasonable cost estimates. He will be repairing some damaged basement paneling from the 70s, replacing a lot of basement ceiling tiles from the same era, and installing new kitchen ceiling lighting. We are also talking about replacing windows in one bedroom and he has been very helpful in providing info on options., making my choice easier. He was very knowledgeable about all the details involved, and I am confident he will do an excellent job."
