They replaced the valley by interlocking new shingles. They replaced the boot around the chimney and added new shingles around the chimney.They also replaced needed plywood that had rotted out from the water leak. I watched from time to time.  It was a lot of work to be done.  A lot harder than just laying down a new roof. Alot of companies just want to sell you a new roof and not be bothered with doing repairs.

There were three workers. It took two days.They worked in the rain part of one day.Any debris was cleaned up and hauled away. Mr. Collins came to the site several times to check on the work being done.

Initially,I left a voice mail message requesting an estimate.He called back in a couple of days.We set a time for the inspection and he was on time calling ahead to let me know that he was on his way.He inspected the roof and we came to a mutual decision on the work to be done. The price seemed fair and he knew exactly what needed to be done. I had a long list of questions to ask him. He took his time in answering the questions and explained things to me until I fully understood. I felt good about our meeting and did not feel it necessary to get another estimate.The result of all of this was NO Roof Leak

"During a thunderstorm at around 9pm we noticed our bathroom ceiling had a crack in it and was dripping water enough where we grabbed a bucket. I thought the whole thing would give way because the forecast called for enough rain for a flood warning. I found A-1 here on Angies List and gave them a call. They were informative and quick to respond. The leak stopped on its own as the rain subsided a little so we told A1 we could wait till morning. They came out and fixed us all up for a good price. Rick and his crew explained exactly what the problem was and how they intended to repair it and they even took pictures. I am so happy with the overall experience. Situations like this can cause so much anxiety and when a good company helps you out it's a tremendous relief. Thank you Rick, Shane and the girl who's name I didn't catch. "Mr. Kogan and Huron Masonry were incredible. I've lived in my home for 12 years now. My chimney not only looked decrepit, but was beginning to be downright dangerous from falling debris. I've got bids from some companies to fix it from door salesmen. Each bid I received was nearly 20% higher than what Huron Masonry bid. When I finally buckled down and decided to get it fixed, Mr. Kogan made the process so simple and comfortable for me. He was easy to speak with on the phone, being extremely open and honest about everything. He was at my house within 24 hours to personally see my problem. After we worked together to come up with the idea that I liked best, it may have only been 48 hours before there was a crew at my home working. His crew was extremely nice, and never stopped working.
