"Jose and his team did a great job on our yard! We had several areas where we needed old landscaping cleared away and new landscaping added. On the initial consult, Jose went above and beyond, walking the property and brainstorming options with me. Once we decided on a few projects, Jose and his team knocked it out efficiently and beautifully. It looks great!"

"We were very pleased with the job Jacob did. We had him install almost 30 cubic yards of mulch at our home. He went and got the mulch, and transported it to our house. Then he and his helper worked in the hot sun for several hours to get the mulch properly placed. It looks great! Jacobâ s fee was reasonable. His response time was excellent. He communicates very well, making sure that the homeowner knows what to expect. We highly recommend Jacob, and we look forward to hiring him again."

Brush Chipping questions, answered by experts

To remove old grass effectively, you typically need to dig to one to two inches. This depth typically allows you to reach the root system of the grass, ensuring thorough removal. However, if the grass is a particularly dense or deep-rooted variety (such as Bermuda grass), or if you're planning to replace it with a different landscaping feature, you may need to dig deeper to loosen the soil and remove any underlying roots.

Dormant seasons like fall and winter are the best times to dig up plants, including holly bushes. Plants aren’t growing during these seasons, so the removal process goes a lot quicker. Consider hiring a landscaping team to handle holly bush removal during the cold-weather months for off-season pricing deals, too.

Yes, most services include basic site cleanup and proper disposal of debris, which may include hazardous materials. It is always best to confirm the specifics with your provider.

Many privet varieties are considered invasive, particularly in North America. They can grow quickly, spread into the wild, and push out native species if left uncontrolled. It’s a particular problem for warmer southern states, and some regions even have warnings or regulations against planting certain types of privet. You can reduce (but not eliminate) the chances of privet spreading by cutting its flowers in summer before they develop.

Leaf removal, aeration, dethatching, mowing, pruning, and fertilizing are activities that prepare lawns for the next season.
