"The owner himself came out to inspect the job to make sure everything was done to the highest quality. He went on the roof and looked it over very carefully, and he even went in the attic to make sure all items on the contract were performed accurately."

Small jobs welcome

"Review for Piazza Roofing Rating: 5/5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot recommend Piazza Roofing highly enough! We were dealing with an active leak, and they went above and beyond by moving us up the schedule to address the emergency before more damage could occur. From the start, the communication was incredible. Andrew was so kind and professional; he took the extra time to explain the entire situation not just to me, but to my husband and son as well. It was so helpful to have the whole family understand exactly what was going wrong and how they planned to fix it. Andrew’s crew managed to complete the entire roof in just one day, which was no small feat. They discovered that the previous owners had performed unpermitted, substandard work that wasn't done correctly. Piazza Roofing didn't just slap on new shingles they made all the necessary repairs to ensure everything was finally up to code and structurally sound. If you are looking for a company that is honest, efficient, and genuinely cares a"

"Phil and his team that did the roofing on our home were great. They were fast, professional, and made sure they did a great job on clean up. Also, Chris who did the follow up on the roofing was great. Had some mis-communication problems with the team that did the gutter work, and they did not do a very good job on clean up. We found several pieces of sharp metal laying in the grass around the house, and some of the workers were smoking and throwing cigarette butts on the ground around our house. Very unprofessional."

Roofing questions, answered by experts

TPO roofing can last anywhere from 15 to 30 years, or an average of 22 years, but you can extend its life expectancy through proper roof maintenance. For the best chance at realizing the longest life span possible, keep tree branches trimmed so they’re not in contact with the roofing material. Inspect your roof regularly and repair any damage immediately.

Yes, capped chimneys should still be vented. Failing to vent a chimney will result in condensation buildup inside the chimney, which commonly results in mold growth. If mold begins to grow in a chimney, it frequently goes undetected and spreads quickly through the home. Mold and moisture can damage the structural integrity of your home, and exposure to mold can cause discomfort and illness in residents.

No, ice dams aren’t a standalone sign that you need a new roof. Ice dams can form on new roofs, as issues with the insulation inside your home are often the underlying problem. However, if you notice signs of roof damage from ice dams, you might need to hire a local roofer for repair or partial replacement.

Yes, impact-resistant roofs can lower your homeowners insurance. Some insurance companies offer discounts or reduced rates if you use Class 4 or Class 3 shingles.

The best way to prevent wind damage to your roof, especially if you live in an area prone to hurricanes, tropical storms, or tornadoes, is to invest in a roofing product with high wind resistance. Look for the ASTM D3161 and ASTM D7158 ratings to see the specific wind speeds your roofing product can withstand. Impact-resistant shingles have the highest wind resistance ratings and will give you the best chance of avoiding wind damage.
