The owner showed up early on the first day. I had a brand new deck. It required more than a gallon and a half of paint. I contacted the owner We disputed it at first but he agreed to come out and give it another spray. Which I was told it is better to paint with brush than to spray by other professionals. The owner showed up with the wrong color spray paint deck. I had gone out early that morning and bought extra paint. Something in my gut warned me too. I gave the owner my own paint that I purchased. That was more out of pocket money. I was happy that he took time to replace one of the middle boards that my dog had chewed. That was supposed to be an extra. He waved that. After 2 days I walked on the stairs and slid down. Almost on my face. There was puddles of paint that could not dry because of the oil base. The owner had told me I can walk on the deck after 4 hours. I am told it takes 8 hour dry time. The owner had agreed to put the caps on my deck. Come to find out the caps I had were actually for the base. However when I came outside they were on the top post looking very badly. I asked him why didnt he let me see them before he continued to place them there. My son-in-law had purchased those thinking they were the cap post decoration. I asked the owner to follow me to the store and I would purchase the correct caps. He recommend I just go to the store get the caps and come home and put them on. I am thankful he did come back out the second time to go over the deck do for his needing a second coating. I was terribly disappointed with the way the whole business was handled. The owner seemed to be a nice guy. I just dont think he has enough experience. I am sorry I couldnt rate it any higher than that. Even my neighbors were disappointed with the service I got. My brother is a handyman. He was very disappointed that I didnt give the job to him. I told him I wanted a licensed professional. My brother would have charged me much cheaper. ð
