"Pretty poor experience overall. A few "highlights" below Missing caulk, and holes in caulk around chimney flashing on day 1 Was told they'd arrive at 9, and instead they came at 6 AM and woke my kids up tearing off the roof. When I went to ask them what was going on I got "no ingles" as a response. Supposedly nobody on the crew could speak english... They decided it would be best to hack the t-pipes and bends on my furnace vents and leave open to the elements since "4 guys ordered the wrong boots" rather than just going to buy a split boot or attempting to slip over (they had no intention of telling me) They bent my TV antenna They cracked the drywall in my vaulted ceiling entryway from throwing bundles so carelessly (It's clearly written in the contract they aren't responsible as they know how careless there crews are. Interestingly the supply house delivered all the shingles to the top of my roof with no issue, but when 4 guys crew arrived and started throwing them from above there waist it cracked) No prep to control debris and nails from tear off so still finding them in the yard where my kids and dog play. They threw out the stainless mesh covers I had on my vent stacks to keep birds and debris out They left the old powerline gasket just hanging on the pipe Apparently straight lines are up there with speaking english also, there is a + or - 1" difference on the shingle overhang wherever they had to cut them."

Yes, you should water the lawn after aerating. Now that you’ve loosened up the soil to better receive nutrients, it’s time to hydrate and fertilize your lawn. No, it's not a good idea to put grass seed directly on top of dead grass. For successful germination and growth, grass seed needs good soil contact. To prepare the area, start by removing the dead grass using a shovel or a sod cutter. Then, loosen the soil, add soil amendments if necessary, and spread the grass seed evenly. This allows the seed to come into direct contact with the soil, promoting better germination and establishing a healthier lawn.

A lawn that suddenly and quickly turns yellow is typically the result of a dramatic change in the grass's environment. Heavy rainfall can dilute soil nutrients, rapidly yellowing the grass, and dull lawn mower blades can dry out and damage the grass in a short time. Over-fertilizing can yellow a lawn within a matter of days. 

While your lawn will reap the benefits of core aeration faster than liquid aeration, the liquid solution will last longer and have more cumulative effects. If your lawn is in really bad shape, try both. By creating holes in the soil with the core aerator, you’ll make it easier for your lawn to absorb the liquid aerator solution. You might have to apply the liquid aerator several times during the growing season, but again, the positive results will be more cumulative than with core aeration on its own.
