"Igor Zora and his painters did a magnificent job, paying attention to detail. They also wallpapered our bathroom. Being an older house, there were many things that needed special attention. They even steam-cleaned the bathtub. As Mr Zora was also working in a separate business venture, he was often unavailable to us, but he always came through. A big shout-out to his painters, Joanna White and her daughter, Melody. They did most of the painting, and did a beautiful job. All in all, we are satisfied with the work done."

"The whole process of quoting, sales presentation, finance arrangement, installation was simple, timely, professional, complete and painless. The price was very competitive, the installation was smooth and prompt, and the end product is thing of beauty. This review is from a homeowner who has had a couple of terrible furnace experiences in the past decade."

Bathroom Fan Installation questions, answered by experts

Fan power is measured by CFM, or cubic feet per minute. For every 1,000 feet of square footage in your attic, you need a minimum of 700 CFM. Steeper roofs may need larger fans or about 840 CFM.  You can figure the size of attic fan you need by multiplying the square footage of your attic floor by 0.7. (multiply by 1.2 for a steep roof and 1.15 for a dark roof). That number is the CFM required for your fan to run efficiently.

Installation generally takes 2 to 4 hours, depending on the home structure, electrical characteristics, and attic access ease.

Every municipality has its own codes. But generally speaking, all bathrooms must have some ventilation, whether it's a fan or a window. Check your local building codes before doing any bathroom fan installation to make sure you are meeting the code requirements. A reputable electrician or bathroom fan installer will be able to answer this question.

To get rid of humidity in your bathroom, you’ll need to increase ventilation and minimize moisture. Install an exhaust fan or dehumidifier. Crack a window. Remove wet towels and clothing. Wipe down surfaces to reduce standing water or condensation. You can even install an anti-fog mirror. Taking shorter baths and showers can help, too.

You’ll find the backdraft damper near the top of the range hood (where it connects to the ductwork). However, some range hoods also have a second damper, which is located close to the roof or exterior wall where the ductwork ends. If you don’t see a damper in either of these places, you might not have one.
