"We contracted with JAM Home Services (Jeff) to repair and paint walls, ceilings and closets in the living/dining room and 3 bedrooms of our house. We also asked about installing base board where missing/damaged and also installing shoe molding in all rooms (we had just had carpeting removed and hardwood floors refinished), While his was not lowest estimate for the project, we were impressed with his knowledge, suggestions for successful completion and his professionalism. At our request, he suggested several colors that would work with the hardwood floors. We agreed on a start date, which had to be firm, to meet a specific timeline to place our house on the market. A week before start date, he checked in with us to be sure we still on schedule. As it happened, other projects were already completed, so he started a week earlier than planned and completed the project withing the 4 days he had originally estimated. We could not have been more pleased with the result! Each day, the work space was cleared and cleaned, except for drop cloths left to protect floors. He repaired a baseball-sized hole in the wall in one bedroom, repaired a crack in the plaster above a door in the living room, filled all nail holes. The paint on all ceilings, wall and closets was smooth and even - no messy corners or bleeding edges. The new base boards and and shoe molding were such great enhancements to the rooms. We highly recommend JAM Home Services for anyone with home repair or improvement project needs!"

"I want them to paint the ceiling in 3 rooms, a bathroom and also some of the walls. I have only lined up the job and they haven't come out to get the job done. They said they had other jobs to do before they would come out to my house. They are supposed to come before Thanks Giving. They have been really good so far. They quoted about a 100 $ for a room, but I am not sure about the total amount."

"Mike anticipated a 6 hour job, but stayed another 4+ hours in order to do all of the additional things we asked of him. He did a BEAUTIFUL and very meticulous job, and cleaned up after he was done. When he was painting the bathroom, he noticed a lack of caulking done around the top of the shower. He took the time to caulk it for us, even though we wouldn't have known if he had NOT done so. I will hire Mike and Gabriel Painting for all jobs I need done in the future; I give his company my highest recommendation."

"I asked Trinity Professional Services to come to our home

and give me a quote on removing the carpet and refinish the wood floors (under

the carpet) in a 1200sq ft home.  When I

had other service providers over to give me a quote, they gave me a quote which

included sanding and refinishing the floors which would cost about $5,000 to

$6,000

When Chris and Brenda came to the home for the quote, they

mentioned that they have done this type of work many times and suggested to

just remove the carpet and based on how it looks, just clean and polish it.

This type of service would cost around $500 instead of $5,000.  In addition, they removed all the tack boards

and cut up the carpet and padding into small pieces to the city would pick them

up in the regular weekly trash pickup.

It is very refreshing and surprising that a company would be

so honest and so understanding to offer suggestions that can save you a lot of

money. Sure, sanding the floors and putting a new finish on them would be

great, but right now we are on a tight budget and saving $4,500 for floors that

look good too!  How can you turn that down?

Well, after the carpet was removed the floors were cleaned

and polished and they look great and only a fraction of the cost!

If you want a professional company that works hard and does

what they quote you and on top of that make practical recommendations that not

only make your home look good but save you a TON of money, then you need to

contact Trinity Professional Services!

In addition to removing the carpet, cleaning and polishing

the floors in the 1200 sq ft home, we also hired their team to clean all the

wood doors, baseboards, door frames, closets, etc with TSP.  We recently bought the home. It appeared they

smoked in the some of the rooms, so we wanted to get rid of any orders prior to

painting the walls.  Chris and his team

did a great job cleaning every room (and closet) in the house with TSP which

included the wood doors, wood trim, baseboards, ceilings, and window sills.  The woodwork looks great and the house smells

clean and fresh!

Thank you Trinity Services for all your work cleaning our new home! "

"The wall paper removal was done first.  Two crew members removed the wall paper in a bedroom, a bathroom, and foyer in one day.  They were skilled and efficient at the job.  I was relieved because I have done wall paper removal myself in the past and it took me days to do a small amount.  They needed a special tool to remove one wall of paper in a second bedroom, which was too well adhered, and  they did that the following day as well as wall repairs.  They repaired some cracked and damaged plaster in the livingroom,  replaced dry wall around a wall furnace in the family room,  repaired any ceiling cracks.  Ken did  restoration work where drywall was missing in the basement, using sheet rock, "mud" and sanding  to make a smooth surface as well as in one of the bedrooms.  He replaced missing molding.   Then they had a five man crew and everything moved like lightning, first ceilings, doors and trim, then the next day walls and closets.      I was there when they painted the walls,  a lot of activity with people working in every room, everything being transformed at once.   The next day they had a two man crew painting base moldings and finishing some areas.    I think the price was very reasonable because there was a lot of work done, including repairs and preparation and it was good to see old problem areas successfully resolved.   ( Some of the painting had to wait to be completed while some restoration  work was being finished but it has now all been done. )  Everything is vastly improved with the fresh coat of paint and my house is looking much more ready to list for sale."

Wallpaper Removal questions, answered by experts

One of the biggest downsides to peel-and-stick wallpaper is that it doesn't last as long as traditional wallpaper. Its lifespan depends on several factors, including the quality of the paper, proper wall preparation and application, and the room's conditions. As a general rule, peel-and-stick wallpaper can last for at least five years, but this can vary significantly. Budget products may only last about 3 years, while higher-quality products can stay up for 7 years or more in ideal conditions. Factors that can shorten its lifespan include high humidity (such as in a bathroom), dirty walls, and low-quality paper. If used on flooring, expect it to last only 1 to 3 years unless sealed. However, the shorter lifespan can be seen as a positive, making it a great choice for people who enjoy switching up their interiors more frequently.

To remove adhesive-backed wallpaper, you’ll need to soften the adhesive before you try peeling the wallpaper off the walls. You may wonder whether peel-and-stick wallpaper damages walls. It can depend on the removal method. Make sure to be patient and consider using a steamer, hair dryer, or adhesive remover to carefully take down adhesive-backed wallpaper.

Hiring a professional wallpaper hanger is usually a worthwhile idea because, while the application of wallpaper itself is easy, getting the finished product to look good is complicated and takes a lot of practice and patience. A professional wallpaper hanger will not only be able to hang your wallpaper seamlessly, but they will also get an even application of wallpaper paste to avoid bubbling and imperfections immediately and over time. Plus, they can provide their professional opinion on whether to remove or wallpaper over an existing layer of wallpaper.

The cost varies from $1 to $3 per square foot, depending on the type of wallpaper, the wall condition, and the labor involved.

Most jobs take 1-3 days, depending on room size and adhesive strength.
