"Both times I contacted the company, they were prompt to respond to my request for service (one by phone, another by e-mail).  They were prompt to schedule the service, and arrived at the stated time.
Work inside the house was not disrupting, even to the point where the workers removed shoes to avoid dirtying the carpets by bringing outdoor dirt inside.  The cleaning was thorough, and efficient.
This year's service was scheduled by e-mail, me sending a message Sunday, receiving a confirmation call at 9 a.m. Monday, and the crew arriving Tuesday.  I didn't have to be home because the work was outside.  The lady scheduling the service said they'd leave a bill.
Wouldn't have known they had come by while my wife and I were at a restaurant except I noticed that leaves which had been on the deck and porch were gone when we returned.
As promised, the bill was left in the mailbox.
The cost was fair, service quick and efficient, and the crew courteous and attentive to my needs while in my home.

In general, shades and blinds are the most common window coverings used today because they create unobtrusive, sleek profiles that fit into any space. In addition, blinds and shades are extremely easy to use. Most operate using either a pull system or wand. While most blinds and shades sold by retailers are available in a wide range of sizes that are made to fit standard windows, customers can also order custom shades and blinds for windows that are hard to fit.

The main categories of window coverings are shades, shutters, curtains, drapes, and blinds. However, consumers today have dozens of options within these categories when it comes to everything from materials to the technology behind how window coverings operate.

The recommended frequency for professionally cleaning drapes varies. As a general guideline, aim for every four to five years. However, you should consider more frequent cleanings in specific circumstances. For homes with pets, heavy soiling, or residents with severe allergies, cleaning every two to three years—or even two to four times per year—is beneficial. Light-colored drapes may need cleaning every one to two years to maintain their appearance. Some also follow a biannual schedule, cleaning in the spring to remove winter dust and in the fall to remove summer pollen. In between professional services, lightly vacuum your drapes with a special attachment to remove surface debris, but avoid abrasive brushes on delicate fabrics like silk and linen.

Strat decluttering for the holidays by removing trash and organizing items into different piles that you’ll keep, donate and toss out. Whatever you intend to keep, find a specific place for it, and if you buy something, get rid of an item that’s taking up space. Start small, go room-by-room, and don’t try to declutter all at once—doing so can get overwhelming.

Use a combination of blackout methods to truly black out your windows. If you want to eliminate all light from your room, try installing a very dark tinted film and then putting up blackout shades over the entire window. Reach out to a professional and request some custom-made shades for the best result.
