"Arrived and got started right away. I paid him upfront and had to shower and change to head out for evening. I received pictures taken of a portion of the duct, was disappointed I could not see to the end of the vent clean out. My other concern is how the service tech left the dryer vent curled up and partially crushed as he put the dryer back in place, and then took this picture to display it. It would seem obvious that once you saw the vent like that you would correct it. Not happy with that. "

We provide the best in chimney and dryer vent care to our family, friends and neighbors throughout Mid-Michigan, Northern Indiana and Northern Ohio, and have maintained the highest standards since our inception. Our team of Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA)-certified chimney sweeps have always been dedicated to keeping your chimneys and dryer vents as clean and as safe as possible. "The old fireplace was rusted and had to be replaced together with the flue and the covers at the top of the chimney. The project was done on time and at the cost within the limits quoted initially. There were no cost surprises at the end of the project. They also work with a credit company that can finance the project for a good deal (no interest for 18 months at that time). The team was professional and they finished the work on time (the actual work took about two days). The cost was maybe a bit more pricey than the average, but the job was well done and without extra costs or surprises at the end."

We do this by discussing the comfort issues in the home and then properly measuring the home for system sizing. We, of course, provide this service free of charge. We maintain a professional staff of installers that focus on quality and cleanliness. Our installers average 10 years of experience in the HVAC industry. "I paid Mr. Phomalee $1275 to do some bathroom remodeling work that he'd initially stated he'd be able to begin between Christmas and New Years this past December. After not showing up at that time, he proceeded to promise that work would begin on eight separate dates, missing all of them. During this time I received no communication from Mr. Phomalee unless I initiated it, and when I did he made an excuse related to his vehicle or family each time. Finally, I informed Mr. Phomalee that I needed him to return the funds paid to him as it had become clear he had no intention of doing the work for which he had been contracted. He informed me at that time that his previous excuses had been lies, that he had used the money I'd paid him for gambling, and that he most recently had not been able to due the work because he'd been trying to secure a loan to cover "the bad checks [he] had written to gamble so [he] didn't go to jail". So, I'm now in a position where I've had an unusable shower for two months, and will be forced to seek legal action against Mr. Phomalee to attempt to recover my money."

During installation, they tracked mud throughout the house, knocked my dehumidifier out of place (which I had to repair), and left mold starting on the furnace room drywall. They also failed to complete the job on the scheduled day, never called me back to reschedule, and I had to chase them down myself. Not long after, the system broke down completely, leaving us without AC for a night with it being 80+ degrees in the house. I have young children who were miserable and couldn?t sleep as a result, and I?m not sure what their ?emergency? service is, because no one answered their phones until the next morning and I tried calling their emergency line. I then had to take time away from work to be home while they fixed what the technician admitted was an improper installation. In addition, the ?premium? system we paid extra for actually made the gap in upstairs/downstairs temp worse. No money back for wasted time. Stay away."
