"Decided to leave the color as is.  The software was a cool idea, but hard to use and only good if you just wanted to get some ideas.  It will only give you an approximation because it will not account for the lighting in your area.   The phone consultant said it would be better to use a color consultant.  I will probably go that route in the future, but for now I will leave as is.

"I got 3 quotes for work that needed to be done on the exterior of my home and took the middle quote. The company that was doing the job was doing a horrible job. New Star Construction was doing some other work in my neighborhood and they came to look at the job. I ended up having them come and fix the bad work from the previous company and I couldn't be happier. They did a great job and are such great people to work with. They are still calling me to follow up to make sure everything is ok."

Yes, you can install drywall over plaster, but there are important factors to consider. While it can create a smooth, flat surface, it is often not the best approach. Installing drywall over plaster will increase the wall's thickness, which can cause issues with existing window and door frames that may no longer fit. If you already have plaster walls and ceilings, adding new plaster costs $2 to $10 per square foot. For an average-sized room, that would come out to $1,200 to $10,000. Plaster ceilings can sag for several reasons.
