"Paul hired the person to plant 6 arborvitae..one planted crooked and two over my property line, three died and no response back after he promised to replant 3 more where the dead ones were. No soil amendment, no mulch applied after planting and the roots appeared diseased when I pulled them out. They were over 5 feet tall trees when planted and did not last a year. Paul failed to follow through with his promise to guarantee his work. Would not recommend."

Additionally, some aggressive trees, including willows, oaks, elms, maples, and poplars may grow back from roots. Large aggressive trees with established root systems are more likely to grow back.

You can remove a small tree from your yard if there’s space for the tree to fall, you have the right tools and safety equipment, and you follow a clear plan of action. You’ll just want to follow the steps above carefully, and ideally, you will have experience doing similar tasks. If you have any doubts that you can do this project safely, though, you should hire a pro.

Trees are beneficial to the environment and wildlife. If you have an old tree, but it’s healthy, it may be best to avoid cutting it down. However, if it’s showing signs of bug infestation, disease, or is potentially hazardous, then you should contact a tree removal company to cut it down.
