Patrick and his team have been building patio, decks, docks, 3 season porches & outdoor kitchens in Western Michigan since 1998. Our parent company, Barton Builders Ltd. has been building custom homes and remodels since 1988 and it just made sense to add our outdoor division, Great Lakes Decking & Fence. Customer satisfaction is our # 1 priority. Many manufacturers/styles and colors to choose from. We require 50% down payment at contract signing and balance at completion. We work on a draw payment schedule on larger projects. We also accept Visa and Master Card.

"We’ve had the pleasure of working with DK Construction on multiple projects since 2013 on Lake Mac. Steve K., Steve M., Lewis A., Lindsey H., the riggers, the carpenters – from the top down are top notch. Knowledgeable, accommodating, courteous, and professional. My expectations are exceeded in every way, with everything they do. Since 2013, they’ve installed (and maintained) my dock, dock extension, permanent lift, piers, decking, etc. Their attention to detail is amazing, and the finished deck is a work of art. After adding the dock extension this winter, I had DK replace every piece of wood decking and fenders. The crews removed and replaced every cleat, agitator mount, water and electrical connection, thermostats, steps, etc. flawlessly. And when they left, not one piece of debris was remaining. Everything was clean! This is even more amazing considering most of the work was done over the winter in adverse conditions (not interfering with boating season). Our dock may not be the biggest dock on the lake, but it is one of the nicest!! As others have stated, DK is absolutely the go-to source and a company you can trust. Always an enjoyable experience working with Steve!!"
