"Everything looks great so far after four weeks. I was expecting it to take much longer to go from zero grass to anything resembling an actual lawn. The work was great and Ben provided helpful instructions to water and maintain the area after the work was complete."

"If you’re looking for someone to install a professional irrigation system… Chris is your guy! Showed up when he said he was going to and got the job done in a timely manner. Quality is top-notch! I’ve had my irrigation system for three years now, and I’ve had zero issues. He only uses quality products and his work reflects that as well. Chris is always responsive and takes care of my winter shut off and spring start up. I would highly recommend Chris for anyone’s future irrigation system. If anyone is dissatisfied with Chris’s work, I would have to assume that they are just trying to find anything to be dissatisfied about in life and probably need more hugs!"

When I turned 16, my first job was as a professional maid cleaning homes and businesses in the Howell area. After working there for a few years, I went to college and got my degree in Medical Assisting. I graduated the week Covid hit! The past few years in the healthcare field have drained me for what it feels like ten years! I decided I would put my smarts to use and open my own cleaning company -with my husbands support and full encouragement! Lawn Care questions, answered by experts

Implement overseeding and fertilization to maximize aeration benefits and strengthen your lawn.

In many cases, it’s a good idea to water St. Augustine grass daily to keep the soil moist and the grass thriving. It’s drought-tolerant, but it’s always best to keep it watered. However, it’s also important not to overwater, so skip watering during wetter conditions and aerate your lawn to promote proper soil drainage.

Yes! Fescue grass is a perennial that naturally regrows every spring. That’s why we recommend planting this grass variety in the spring to jump into the ideal growing and regrowing schedule. Keep in mind that fescue grasses thrive in cooler and transitional areas, so some species do best in moderate climates below 90 and above 50 degrees Fahrenheit.

The American ideal of a large, perfectly-manicured lawn is tied to the post-World War II suburban housing boom. In the decades that followed, technological advances made self-propelled mowers more affordable and plentiful. Many Americans came to see reel mowers as old-fashioned, inconvenient, and time-consuming, and they eventually fell out of fashion.

Buffalo grass starts to turn brown when encountering drought during the normal growing season. You can water the grass when you begin to notice some browning to prevent it from going dormant. Additionally, buffalo grass turns brown after the first freeze of late autumn or early winter, and this is a natural time for the grass to go dormant.
