"I live in Griffith, Indiana, in an area with loamy soil and a high water table. Whenever it rained heavy we were sure to get seepage in our basement. There was one drain in the floor and when it rained a lot, water would seep in from all four walls, getting the whole floor wet. I had to put evrything up on blocks. So when we got a door-hanger offer for a free inspection from Everdry, we responded and called for an appointment. After the inspection the Everdry agent told us that our foundation walls had a 56% moisture saturation and the floor was at 88% saturation, that our damp basement was attracting insects, and that we had active mold growth. There was pressure fracturing in places on foundation walls, and that two of our foundation walls had footing coves that were blocked. In summary, there was no protection inside and no protection outside. Needless to say, we were extremely concerned about the condition of our seeping basement. Understanding the importance of protecting the investment that is our home, we had Everdry do the work to solve our problem. I knew we were going to need something more robust to manage water flow, than just a single basement floor drain, so I was glad to hear that Everdry installs a pressure relief pump to actively expel water buildup below the foundation. We also liked the idea of their Smart Power Back-up Unit, that keeps the pressure relief pump working, even if the electricity shuts down during a storm. "When we bought this house we were planning to renovate the basement.  The previous owner had represented that it had never taken on water.  The first weekend we were here, however, a torrential rainstorm caused the basement to flood.  We realized we needed to waterproof it before we could do anything else, and decided that drain tiling was the safest way to go.
Greg was phenomenally responsive from the start.  He was very clear about what needed to be done and how they would do it.  He also described some optional work but was explicit that it was optional and if it didn't fit within our budget that was that, and he wasn't going to push it the slightest bit.  His quote blew away the bigger, well-known firm and was less than or on a par with some others.  He also agreed to demo the walls for a slight extra charge, which otherwise would have been a huge convenience for us.  Between then and the start of work I emailed him repeatedly with various questions and he responded almost instantly.  When his workers took down the paneling we got the unpleasant news that we had huge cracks in the walls that would need to be tuckpointed and in one area a big chunk of foundation was jutting from the wall.  That section of the foundation would need to be replaced and a support beam installed.  We were more or less at Greg's mercy at this point -- we weren't going to halt work and bring in a series of guys to quote the tuckpointing & repair -- but Greg gave us an estimate of $2,600-$3,000.  We can't know for sure, but suspect that this price was more than fair, and Greg stuck to it even though we think the work turned out to be more than they expected.
The project manager, Jim, was fantastic to work with throughout, very communicative and accomodating, and the crew of five guys or so was extremely friendly and professional.  All in all, A Perfect Crawlspace was a pleasure to work with and we could not be happier with the results.

"Very professional and well-done work to perform repairs to 4 cracks that were leaking from previous repairs and repaired multiple rod holes in foundation. Many of which either were actively leaking prior to repairs or showing signs of leaking soon. The tech, Randy, had previously not been out to site before for quote. But took the time prior to starting any work to go over the proposal and review all work that was expected to be performed to verify his and my expectations were both in alignment. About halfway through the job had me re-verify that all rod holes that were previously identified and discussed were being addressed. Did a great job performing clean up and stayed later than expected to fully complete the job instead of calling it a day in the middle of the work. Would highly recommend Stay Dry to others for work to repair foundation cracks and rod hole leaks."

I understand from other reviews that there are some customers who are perhaps not as flexible as I am. Since nothing I have ever needed him to do was an emergency, I would rather wait for him to squeeze me in with my small jobs as he is such a delight to work with.
