"TLDR: Since having our driveway done, we have had American Paving do both my sister's and parent's drives. That should tell you a lot about the work they do. Details: We were tired of looking at the cracks and holes in our old driveway. Frankly, it made the outside of the house feel kinda dumpy. After reading the reviews, and seeing how frequently people praise them by name, I called for a quote. Matthew came out that day, measured everything, explained his plan, and quoted a fair price. Our driveway is long, so it was never going to be "cheap", but my wife said it best, “I don’t feel bad about what we spent.” On install day, Matt and James were on site making sure everything was done correctly. The crew worked quickly, but it never felt rushed. Worth noting... I asked them to be careful near a deck I installed myself, and they immediately had someone ready with a broom to keep it clean. "I was impressed that Jason went out to the building site on Sunday, and then checked the size of the boulders.  Not many contractors give up part of a Sunday to determine whether the size of the boulders is appropriate.  Early Monday morning he called that he connected with another boulder/stone company who could deliver on Thursday.  He and his crew did a beautiful job putting the retaining wall up.  I was disappointed that the landscaping around the wall and driveway were not levelled out better before they left.

"The price was fair. When they originally came to do it, there was not enough road gravel down so we had to have the other guy come back and redo that. We kept getting a promise date and then they wouldn't show. It took a while to get them back so we were a little disappointed with them. We couldn't reach them. We would leave messages and they wouldn't call back. Since we missed our first opportunity, then we got pushed back and they took care of the other places. They should have responded and let us know. When they finally did come the crew was great and the finished product was good. The pricing was in the ballpark. This was set up through our contractor. They did finally come when they said but it took 3 times. We might look for somebody else in the future."
