"They do exceptional work. They built a ramp off of my deck. Also critter-proofed my shed. They did exactly what was written in the contract, showed up when they said they would and finished the job in a timely manner. High quality work."

"David has a Tremendous amount of talent. He's very honest puts 120% effort into every job he does. He's just an all around great guy. He did some repair work on my house. For example, he build a little deck for. He also replaced some exterior trim around my house and also repaired my roof which had a leak issue. I recommended him to all my friends and colleagues and I have some more lined up for him later down the road."

"This 3 person crew was on time-even for quote- drove 2 hours to get here. They were knowledgeable about supplies needed- picked supplies all up- and everything fit & looked great! They were friendly & efficient. They gave us options such as gate placement and tweaked everything to our liking. It was a hot day & bugs were abundant but they pushed through! They also repaired another fence that was damaged by a fallen tree on property. They cleaned up & were very pleasant!"

Fencing questions, answered by experts

A split rail fence is not typically considered among types of dog fencing. Many dogs are small enough to slip out between or under rails, and dangerous pests like coyotes can slip in. However, adding wire mesh to a split rail fence can add the security needed for dog safety without compromising the timeless look that makes the split rail style appealing.

In most cases, a fence can only be built on your property with your consent. Not obtaining permission constitutes an encroachment and a violation of your property rights. However, exceptions may apply, such as when the fence is entirely within the property boundaries of the person putting it up and the fence complies with local zoning laws and regulations. If you think a fence infringes on your property or is not up to local standards, consult with local authorities or legal experts to address the issue and protect your property rights.

Issues include rust, loose posts, and damaged mesh. Regular maintenance prevents significant problems.

You can buy wrought iron fencing from a trusted fence installation company near you. You could also opt to buy it privately from a homeowner who is interested in recycling their own wrought iron materials. Manufacturers stopped mass production of wrought iron as steel became more affordable to produce, so you likely won't find it in any local big box stores.

The average cost to install a fence that is 200 feet in length is $4,600, but this largely depends on the type of fence you build. For instance, a 200-linear-foot redwood fence costs between $3,600 and $7,000.
