"They were extremely polite and professional. The work was done well. We have many windows which are very high and we were surprised at how efficiently it was done. How does that sound? I thought I couldn’t say one thing wrong with the people."

"We had them wash our roof on our business. This roof has not been washed in over 20 years. They showed up on time and worked until the job was done. The roof looks brand new!"

Small jobs welcome

"We are thrilled with the pace and quality of the work performed in our home! The home looks like new inside with pristine baseboards and flawless edging---and my husband is picky! Todd even repaired a warped baseboard and patched and painted a pantry door---looks like new! The price was fabulous---we flew him out to AZ for the job and we were not disappointed. He repaired some previous errors, caulked where necessary and offered suggestions for repairing our dog-gnawed curio cabinets to make the gnash marks less obvious. The reception to our new interior has been excellent---people have noticed the little things that were off and are now perfect! Many thanks to Wright Touch Painting!! We formerly lived in MI and didn't hesitate to consider Todd for the job."

"Darius was professional and efficient. He put a curtain rod up above my living room door wall and another above my bedroom window. He also hung a plaque on my dining room soffit. He did a great job and I will not hesitate to call him again! Very nice young man!"

Holiday Decorating questions, answered by experts

Cold weather can cause older incandescent Christmas lights to fail by causing cracks in the finish or the glass itself. Modern LED lights are affected in the opposite way and perform even better as the temperature drops.

The cost for professional holiday light installation averages around $430, with a typical range of $220 to $675. However, prices can be as low as $100 for simple projector setups or exceed $1,200 for extensive displays. The total cost depends on factors like the display's complexity, your home's size, labor rates in your area, and the type of lights used. For example, installation on a small, one-story home may cost $250 to $600, while a multi-story home over 4,000 square feet could cost $500 to $1,800. Costs can also be broken down by location (e.g., high roofs at $3.50–$6 per linear foot) or by the type of light strand, with prices ranging from $4 for basic incandescent strands to over $60 for color-changing LED strands.

Take a picture of your house to easily replicate the same design for next year and keep the clips and accessories. When storing your lights, wrap them around cardboard so they don’t get tangled. Purchase a ladderless extension pole kit to hang your lights (around $30 to $50) for hard to reach areas.

There is no formal date for Christmas light removal, but January 2 is a standard day to take them down for many homeowners. However, some homeowners’ associations have strict rules around this topic, mandating that residents remove lights no later than two weeks after Christmas. Check with your local association or community for more information.

If you need to visually inspect your Christmas lights to determine which are good and which need replacement, there are a few things to look for. First, look for discoloration, such as a dark spot or two on the inside of the glass. The spot is an indication of a burnt filament. Also, look for missing filaments, cracked bulb glass, and broken sockets.
