Angie’s List sent my info to several providers and Dan from Tree Pirates was the first to call. He asked what I wanted from the tree (higher fruit yield or esthetic shaping) and I said yield. He told me of his experience, made recommendations and I hired him to come the following day. He arrived on time, we examined the tree together and decided what limbs to remove. Half way through he asked me to check the progress to see if it was what I wanted, finished in a timely manner considering the amount of work. Dan then took the severed limbs down to our “wood pile” to be shredded and cleaned up the area. In addition to the pruning, Dan gave me advice on spraying the tree and fertilizing, making recommendations and explanations for each.
