"Everything went great. They picked up everything when they left. Coming back to fix a leak and do a little more trim I asked for. Working on an estimate for interior work I’ve asked for and walkway outside. Very polite and knowledgeable"

"Initially, there was some confusion about the scheduled appointment. I spoke to a Home Advisor rep about it. Once that was cleared up, things went great. They were on time, did great work and cleaned up after themselves. I would hire them again."

"I feel I hit the Jackpot when I found this company through HA. Joe always returns calls or text, which now a days is not the norm. Scheduling was easy with him. His crew showed up on time and were clean and neat. They did an amazing job. Now Get This. He followed up when his crew completed the job, to inspect. I would not hesitate to hire Far Meadow again for any size job. He is a young contractor with old style values. Most contractors today, feel they are doing you a favor. Not Joe, at Far Meadow. He appreciates the work, keeps you informed, Very fair pricing, and returns calls/text. I found it easier to text him with questions or text him to call me when he had a chance. He ALWAYS called or texted back. Far Meadow is a Gem in the coal pile. You can't go wrong hiring Far Meadow."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Setting up a pool on unlevel ground is not recommended as it can damage the pool or yard and put the safety of those using it at risk. If a pool isn't level, the water's weight won't distribute evenly, putting excessive pressure on certain parts. This can cause the pool liner to tear or the walls to collapse, leading to water damage, expensive repairs, or potential injury to swimmers. It is more cost-effective to level the ground correctly before installation rather than waiting to address serious structural issues later.

While you shouldn’t notice water that has an appropriate amount of chlorine in it (less than 4 parts per million), you could feel sick from drinking overly chlorinated water. Chlorine exposure can cause nausea, vomiting, coughing, and dizziness. Chronic chlorine exposure (meaning multiple or repeated instances) can make you feel like you have the flu, according to the CDC.

A fiberglass pool lasts up to 30 to 50 years with proper maintenance. For the longest possible lifespan, keep your pool water pH as close to seven as possible. Test your water levels regularly, run your pool filter daily, and avoid draining the pool. Once your pool is 20 to 30 years old, you can prolong the lifespan by refinishing the shell.

Gunite pools are not exactly easy to maintain—but we wouldn't call them "high maintenance." It's one of the longest-lasting pool options, but its porous surface does require a lot of care. You’ll need to thoroughly clean the pool often to prevent stubborn algae growth, and the pool will require higher chemical levels to keep it clean.

Yes, zero-entry pools are also referred to as beach-entry pools because the gentle slope leading to the water mimics the natural slope of a sandy shore leading to a lake or ocean. You can bring in sand or pebbles to truly capture the beach-like feel of a zero-entry pool.
