Excessive chlorine can also give you a skin rash and irritate your eyes, throat, and nose. If your pool’s chlorine level is too high, turn off your chlorinator or chlorine feeder (if you have one). You can also remove the cover and let sunlight hit the water, which naturally reduces chlorine levels.
