"We hired Wayne and Jesse to erect a post and beam kit home on our property. The project was comprehensive, beginning with excavating the lot and finishing with delivering a weather tight shell 5-6 months later, just ahead of winter. There were many challenges with non-standard construction details required to complete the build and to satisfy our own exacting requirements for achieving a well insulated and air tight home. Wayne, Jesse and the team were very accommodating and we always felt that their primary goal was to deliver the home built the way we wanted it built. They made and implemented many suggestions for improvements. When we discovered a few issues with the kit, they always had ideas to overcome any difficulties. "I highly recommend Archadeck of Central Maine. The carpenter, Garret, except for a few hours on the first carpentry day and the entire last day, worked on this by himself. He did a phenomenal job! On the last day he was joined by Preston and he did a great job as well. This project had some unique elements. First, was the slope of the ground. Second, was the design. The lower deck was designed to hold a hot tub (not shown here) to be accessed from the upper deck in the area between the two railings. One whole side of the upper deck remained without a railing as I wanted deck access to be at any point along the footpath. It'll be my task to backfill the gap between the deck surface and the footpath. Total number of days worked on this project was six (6). TJ and Jessi are easy to work with and the cost was very reasonable. We are THRILLED with the results!!"

He and his crew also demonstrated the same high-quality care and workmanship. He determined the trusses were still good and didn't take pay until he felt the job was completed to high standards down to the protective trim.
