"It went very smoothly from first contact through job execution. Some neighbors had recommended them as a previous contractor never did the fencing job he had promised. In the end, they were less costly and did a fantastic job."
"The fence is sturdy and beautiful. Horizon Fence Company made this fence which I chose for aesthetic value as well as ability for it to last without much, if any, maintenance. The owner was responsive throughout and courteous, made an appointment to measure and show pictures of offered styles. Horizon was competitve in pricing (obtained more than one quote), and up front about expected timing before the fence would be installed. The company wanted a deposit (approximately 1/3 of cost), but did not require the balance of payment until the job was complete, as the owner communicated he wanted the customer to be happy. Horizon also directed me to make sure there were no underground obstacles with the proper utilities. The price was not inexpensive, but the cost was in line with what is paid for the material and quality of work - appreciated the personalized touches such as an estate rail option. When placing the fence, they inquired how I wanted it to look when placement complete. It is a beautiful fence, all who have seen it agree. Right away friends and neighbors commented how great it looks. I am very pleased with it and it adds to the property. "

"We hired Junior to replace a small porch and also a split rail fence. He got the job done very quickly and with great workmanship. The fence is located in a very tight area bordering a difficult neighbor. Junior ensured that the fence was within the property line and avoided creating a dispute."
"This man is good at what he does. My past handyman experience is less than stellar. But Rick and I have already discussed a couple possible projects for the future."

A wrought iron fence is generally considered a worthwhile investment, provided the cost fits your budget and its characteristics meet your needs. While it is an expensive material, its exceptional durability and longevity mean you can save money over time by not having to replace it.
Key benefits include:
Durability and Security: Wrought iron is strong and provides excellent security for your home.
Longevity: With proper maintenance, it can last a lifetime or longer.
Aesthetics: It offers a classy, timeless, and elegant look that can boost your home's curb appeal and property value, especially when complementing brick or stone architecture.
However, it's important to note that wrought iron fencing does not offer much privacy. If professionally installed and maintained, it is a sound long-term investment.
Wattle fences are typically around 4 feet tall, but they can be built taller or shorter depending on their intended use. Taller fences may require additional reinforcements, such as thicker posts or tighter weaving, to ensure the fence’s stability and durability against wind and other elements.
Knowing how close to the property line you can build a fence is an important planning step in your fence installation project. In many U.S. states, you are allowed to build a fence directly on the property line as long as your neighbor signs off on the plan. But check with your state government because some states and municipalities require a couple of inches before your property line.
The best fence option for you depends on your property, budget, and style preferences, but a corrugated metal fence could be a good option if you want something durable yet low-maintenance. Unlike wood, corrugated metal won’t fall prey to rot or pest damage, and the metal can be recycled after its life as a fence comes to an end.
Pallet fences come with built-in support through the fence posts you should install on each side of their vertical interior. Stand the fence upright and slide it onto the fence posts, then further support it with 2x4 wood boards that you drill across each point where two pallets connect side-by-side.
