"Deck (and some other exterior wood areas) staining job. Excellent crew, excellent work. Thorough power washing. Crew was meticulous in their work. No messes with the stain, no messes left behind. Great job."

"I hired Lenzen Pro Painting to paint the exterior of my home along with some stucco repair. They did a fantastic job. I am very happy with the results. Everyone at Lenzen is a pro at their jobs. I received a detailed itemized estimate which none of the other companies I got estimates from did. The person who prepped my house was thorough to prevent over-spray and catch any drips. The stucco repairs came out much better than I thought they could and after painting it's very hard to tell where any repairs had been done. Oscar, the person who prepped my house and did the repairs, also painted my house. It was done very professionally. Small imperfections and problems areas around the exterior have completely vanished. My home looks great. I will use this company again for my future painting projects. I recommend this company for its professionalism, great communication throughout the project and, quality results."

"We are disappointed with our experience with this company. Parts of the job were done well, however the owner was not receptive and argumentative when we expressed that he left a mess and rushed parts of the job. There were paint splatters all over our brand new driveway and deck and they painted over dirt on the foundation (not part of the contract at all). Wouldn?t work with them again."

Deck Staining questions, answered by experts

The best time to paint your deck is when temperatures are neither too cold (below 60 degrees) nor too hot (above 85 degrees). Always paint your deck when there’s no risk of rain. For fast-drying paint like acrylic or latex, ensure your deck can dry for at least four hours. Oil-based paints take longer to dry and may require 48 hours to completely cure.

The staining or painting process involves cleaning the deck, sanding surfaces, applying a primer (if needed), and carefully applying stain or paint for an even, lasting finish.

Yes, many repair services include repainting to match the color of the existing siding or walls. Most professionals offer this service to ensure the repaired area blends in seamlessly.

Yes, it's a good idea to sand the wall with fine-grit sandpaper after spackling, especially if you plan on painting. You can do this by hand or using a sander, but the idea is to ensure the spackle is flush with the wall. Sanding will give your wall a smooth, uniform finish and help your paint and wallpaper stay put.

You may be wondering: can you paint cement? Fortunately, the answer is yes.

To change the color of your cinder blocks, you have two options. You can either paint them or stain them. Either way, you'll be able to choose from a wide range of color options. Some popular colors for cinder block painting include off-white shades and gray tones, which add a modern spin to the traditional gray blocks.
