He installed new drywall ceilings and insulation in our family camp in Maine that had some storm damage from a falling tree and destroyed indoor ceiling thus needed replacement. Runs an excellent business. Responded to inquiry intially very promptly. and scheduled repair at time of quote within a couple of days. "I suspected they were charging me for plows that they were not doing but could never count. I would?ve been fine with some overcharges if the job had been done in a timely manner, but at times it wasn?t. When asking if they were on their way one evening after a night snow they never responded to me, but did come and plow soon after. The following year I sent them an email when my spouse and I both got laid off and they also didn?t bother to respond. Shortly after that, it snowed and I was charged for plows, long after I had canceled?but yet my driveway hadn?t even done! So that confirmed my suspicions. When I emailed them back again, there was also no response. No apology or anything. Lack of communication and bad track of plowing. Beware!!"

"When first hired in 2020, the Crockers seemed to do okay. But as time went on, problems with them developed. Not even weeks after the job was sort of completed, they still needed to redo the paint on the porch, the paint started peeling off the walls. They were very unreliable in showing up on days they said they would. So to make a long story short, they failed to complete the painting job we had contracted them to do. The painting they did was literally flaky. It has been four years (the job was guaranteed for five years) and every year they say they will come and fix the paint job but never show up. Needless to say, the house looks horrible with all the paint peeling off. Like someone else said, we very strongly urge people to NOT hire Chris and Jackie Crocker. They are con artists and will take your money and run, without completing the work they contracted to do for you. They will also do horrible painting and finishing job. Please---DO NOT HIRE these crooks!"
