cool, and professional under pressure and her assistant helping her (Stacey) was as well. Not only did they show up exactly the time that was discussed they were so organized they were helping me with things that I needed to get done before the party! Pleasing 60 people is never easy and they pulled it off without a hitch! My guests were raving not one person offered a complaint! They were clean and had everything timed perfectly. As Michelle had recommend for my crowd we had several passed items offering something for everyone?s taste as well as stationary items and a sweet dessert! My guests never worried about food running out or waiting for items to come out of the Kitchen. Stacey was amazing and knew how to work the crowd as he walked the room with the delectable delights! I would recommend and will hire them for future events as the flavors were fantastic and honestly I just didn't have to worry about the food all night and I could socialize with my guests. Do not hesitate to hire them for your next event big or small! They will make you look like a rock star!

I cannot emphasize strongly enough how stressful and unpleasant this was.
ROBERTS & SONS FINE CABINETRY was a subcontractor to Discount Windows and Doors, which I have worked with successfully many times before, across numerous properties in the area. Discount Windows sold me the doors, and installed them. Because of a scheduling issue the doors needed clearcoated after installation, which isn't typical. So, a couple of weeks ago the Robert's crew took the doors after the doors had been installed in a guest house for about a week. The guesthouse was not t regularly used.
The problems began with the ROBERTS & SONS FINE CABINETRY installation crew, when they returned to install the doors. They did nothing to prep the doors and so by clear coating with varnish, they embalmed smudges under the varnish on 4 of 7 doors (57% of the doors...). When they took the doors there was one small smudge on one door, and it had been pointed out in advance. At that time we were given assurances that they would be inspected and any smudges sanded first, before clearcoating. Once you varnish smudges in, they're preserved like flies in amber and to fix it requires sanding and re-coating of the entire affected panel. All other doors were new and smudge free when they left here.....and four returned with spots - and the one which did have a smudge came back with several. Now we have marks on four doors. We decided we could live with one of these doors because honestly this job has gone on for so long and that door is a exterior garage door which we need. Of the three other affected doors two were damaged in other ways, and one wasn't damaged but needed refinishing.
About the damage: while the installers were fumbling with the door in one room, they first had the door upside down and so it wouldn't fit properly. Realizing their mistake they reoriented the door, and in doing so they dropped it on its corner (while I was in the room). When they went to the truck I looked to see if the floor was damaged, and not seeing anything I didn't mention it. I noticed the crack (pictured in this report) immediately after they left. The installation crew also overtightened the screws on one set of hinges on another door, cracking another door in three places (pictures below).
When shown the cracks and fractured door corner, not only did Joey deny responsibility for any split wood caused by over-tightening hinges on one door (a cause which is reasonable and I think obvious to everyone else), he also claimed his installers didn't drop the closet door (even though I was in the room when it happened) and so according to him it couldn't have been damaged by his crew. We never even got to discussing the smudges on several doors which his painter embalmed with varnish. Despite Joey's refusal to acknowledge responsibility he said he would repair the split doors with glue. I told him I was paying full price and didn't want 'seconds' (repaired doors...especially when almost 60% of this job had problems), and regardless of how it was worked out between Discount Windows and ROBERTS & SONS FINE CABINETRY , I expected the proper, new doors which I ordered before I paid. He said that if I didn't pay and accept his repair solution 'I could always put a lien on your house' at which point I reached to his shoulder and said he needed to leave. I was feeling very upset: I was not expecting this. His response to me reaching to his shoulder was 'don't you push me!' (which I didn't and wouldn't) and he kept on talking, angrier than ever. I looked to the Discount Windows rep who was with him and again asked Joey to leave the property, and after several requests both parties left.
The Discount Windows rep called me from the car to sincerely apologize and to tell me the doors were being ordered without involving Joey. He said he was shaken by the whole thing, too, so much so that he didn't think he should drive yet."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/or/eugene/roberts-and-sons-fine-cabinetry-reviews-5425056.htm"},"position":2},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"Prestige Kitchen & Bath","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"ME","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"L H."},"reviewBody":"I don’t remember how much I spent. FAQs for sand and rock delivery projects in Deer Isle, ME
Topsoil costs from $12 to $55 per cubic yard, depending on the type you choose. For example, screened black dirt will cost about $15 per cubic yard. Loam (soil composed of sand, silt, and clay) costs about $17 per cubic yard. Standard screened topsoil costs about $20 per cubic yard. The type of topsoil you need depends on your landscaping plans.
The average cost to mow a lawn is about $125, ranging between $50 and $200 per cutting, depending on yard size. Other cost factors include the shape of your lawn, accessibility, lawn health, type of grass, length of grass, and frequency of the mowing schedule. The cost to cut your grass will also vary depending on where you live. If your landscaper has to maneuver around obstacles or deal with hard to reach areas and steep slopes, this will likely increase your total mowing costs.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
Mulch costs anywhere from $30 to $150 per cubic yard, depending on the type you choose. On the inexpensive end, red and black mulch are about $35 to $40 per cubic yard, and are typically made from recycled waste wood like shredded old pallets or deck material. Cedar, cypress, and rubber mulch cost anywhere from $100 to $120 per cubic yard. A pro can help you determine the type of mulch most suitable for your landscaping needs.
The cost of a paver patio is $3,800 for a 280-square-foot patio on average. Depending on the patio size, paver material, and design complexity, this cost can range from $2,400 to $7,000 or more.
The size of your patio is a significant factor in the project’s overall cost. If you're building a smaller patio of only 60 square feet, your costs will be closer to $480 to $1,500. If you want a more luxurious 900-square-foot patio, you'll spend closer to $7,200 to $22,500.
